At last they managed to finish fourth which mean they were once again qualified for Champions League this upcoming season.
2014/15-season preview:
After last years massive signing of Mesut Özil has this summer been followed of another marquee signing in Alexis Sanchez. Other big name signings are Mathieu Debuchy, David Ospina and Callum Chambers. Arsenal’s attacking game looks very exciting but in the defence there are still things to work on. Last year’s away results against top 3 Man City (6-3), Liverpool (5-1) and Chelsea (6-0) speaks for themselves.
Player profile:
After an amazing start of his Arsenal career Mesut Özil totally lost his form during the winter with the missed penalty again Bayern Munich being the absolute low. Winning the World Cup this summer Özil are now looking forward to a new season where he together with Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud and new signing Alexis Sanchez are forming a great attacking line who are hoping to bring the title back to North London again.
Summary:
For the first time in a long time Arsenal have a squad good and deep enough to really challenge for the league title. Getting Aaron Ramsey back again will be a massive boost for the Gunners. Can Arsenal last longer than Christmas this year?
