Hey guys, once a week we got poker radio in DK. The host is Uffe Holm who is a danish stand up comedian(the short guy in the midlle) and in this episode the guests are Gus Hansen and his good friend Theo Jørgensen who is also a professional pokerplayer(in 2008, Jørgensen won the WSOPE event 3, on FTP he's called DONKEYNO1 and he was also the guy boxing Gus).
The story is told in english but inbetween comments are in danish, so I will try to explain.
Theo and Gus are in Warszawa, Theo has arranged a HU cash game with some indian guy after the match they are invited to the indian guys big brothers restaurant. They get a table in the corner of this empty indian restaurant when the owner(with turban and everything) suddenly spots Gus......english part.
After the indian guy cools of Gus goes to the bar to hit on some girls that apparently want nothing to do with him which the indian guy sees from the other end of the restaurant and yells........english part.
2 days after they return to this restaurant(don't know if it was because of the food or the hilarious owner) and this time they brought a couple of friends here among Peter Eastgate(Isser) the restaurant is stuffed this time but Gus gets personal service at the table by the owner......short english part. The restaurant owner does not recognize Peter Eastgate so Buster(one of the guys) goes to the bar to tell him that the World Champion is in his restaurant........english part.
When the indian guy realises that Peter Eastgate is in his restaurant he takes 2 steps back and freezes....you are kidding me right??....and runs to the backroom to get his camera
The story got a bit long but I had to get everything in

Btw...in the end they say Eastgate is a sucker for attention, that's obviously ironic. Eastgate loves the money he has won from poker but hates the fame.

I think so too. He has said that he will not play anymore in 2009 but spend all time on studying so 2010 will get a better result than 2009 I am looking forward to see him at the tables again cause he always brings action
