It depends very much in what games you like to play. If you play only tourneys, of course this doesnt affect you. If you are a cash player game too, then it depends if you play full ring or shorthanded. Contributed rake when playing shorthanded can be better than dealt rake...not at all in full ring

+1 you resumed it well.
It's all about the kind of game you play, the rake system will affect you in good or bad way.

i didn't check it out yet but will do soon, tight cash game players will suffer from this change, but loose players will be happy with it. won't matter at all for tournament/ sng players.

I have seen awfull full table omaha H/L games there. I mostly have played sgn double ups so that doesnt effect me too much. Maybe cash games change for the better. But where the bonus nits go next?

Well, to me, this rake system is the fairer, so im not gonna cry about it. Anyway, i dont play CG until i built at least a 100$ bankroll (takes a lot of money, if you want to learn CG rules and start making money from it), so that doesnt affect me

Play Sng's and tournament and its all okay ^^ Boring for some cash game players, but there is so many rooms that i think its not that boring. Have fun !
You can't expect nothing good from Ipoker To be serious, they know well the best for them: how to give rakeback spending less as possible; so depends on the kind of game you play

Contributed vs. Dealt. Fair vs. Unfair. Good for players, Bad for promo abusers vs. Bad for players, Good for promo abusers.
I`m always for contributed system. IF it is "fair" of course. iPoker, don`t like it at all and it has nothing to do with players. Maybe some things will change now, for example I`m guessing there will be less ultra passive/ultra tight players on medium stakes, read promo abusers.

Today its still dealt method. On Mansion now you actually get 50% more points. I dont understand why you compain about ultra passive/tight players? You wanna play with LAGs? I dont think so. Maybe 10% of BRM users.

Promo abusers?
I assume he is saying people who play on dealt rake tables to get points without actually playing their hands aside from the blinds. However, I don't see this as abuse, the blinds are there to make it fair, so long as you pay your blinds, then play however the f you want.

Bingo!
And of cause you can steal their blinds all day long, if they play so ultra tight.
