Do you guys(and girls as i know now Blink

) hear music while playing poker?
If it is so, which ones?
I , for myself hear country stuff while playing poker, some calm music, like kenny rogers or something Smile

It helps me to relax and to think properly.

Wow, cool, I think I know now why I'm losing hehehhe... My Computer has a TV Tuner so I tend to watch TV while waiting for my turn.

Watching TV is not good. You got to focus on the game. I used to watch TV and it didn't go so well but when I listen to music it makes me happier and you play better if you are happy.

A personal favourite is Kenny Rogers - The Gambler. Blink

rajko is right. Watching TV or movies will probably tend to steal your focus away. You won't get as many reads on your opponents, like you would if you only watched the table.

For music - I prefer calm music too. Like Katie Melua. And of course Springsteen and such (though not being so calm, but still nice I think)

If you wanna play with poker with music but don't like calm songs then try out metallica. They got many great songs like : Enter sandman, Whiskey in the jar and so on. Good luck! Dollar
