"It must be that time of the month for Annette, whatever her name is. I'm at Bobby's Room almost every day if she really wants to play" is what Doyle Brunson, 76, wrote on his twitter when he got to know that Annette Obrestad, 21, had been dissing his style of playing totally in an interview with a poker magazine.
However, it didn't take long before Doyle realized that his comment wasn't that nic[...] Read more » Doyle's attack on Annette Obrestad

he should't feel sorry for her,, after all he had done nothing wrong...

Brunson's best playing days are long past, but I'd rather play Annette if given the choice. Her over inflated ego IS going to be popped and it won't be good.
What is that f***ing ugly bitch saying????? Doyle Brunson is a legend, she is a child who only want to appear in news critizing and underestimating Gods of poker! My god, what a sacrilege!!

What is wrong in her words?! If she would say "I would rather play against Devil ..." instead of "I would rather play against Doylel ...", would it be OK? How did she offend him?!

so what? and does Doyle look like a candy? ahahaha!
I cannot understand all your comments of that kind.
And if I say that I would rather play against Doyle than against today's online monster, would you start discussing my look? ahahaha
I think Brunsons is becoming too "old" for poker, see how he's loosing against Internet players. A HU between Brunson and durrr would be great, and I think that durrr will win easily

So maybe she's a little overweight ... I don't think she's ugly. The fact that she won the WSOPE actually gives me a woody ! On the other hand ... I would even do Jennifer Harman, I don't care how old she is. Come to think of it .. Jennifer Tilly has passed the age of 50 already and I'd still tap that !

I guess this gal just thinks she's the poop in her young newly found world of fame and glory at the tables. I just think it shows and tell's a lot about a person who doesn't show a bit of respect to their elders and for Fathers of a game that's been played very different today then it was back then. I think there used to be less chasers and more respect at the tables then what there is today, but I really don't know that. I just know how I would treat a generation of people that was way before my time.

Interesting,........!!!??? When I first saw the thread, I thought old Doyle got an uncontrollable stiffy and could contain himself.... Almost like he took an overdose of Viagra and went OFF on the young woman,...so to speak...... heheheheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..................
Too bad about her,....if anyone,...Doyle Brunson CERTAINLY isn't someone you want to get into it with....
She may have lost some weight,....but apparently she's got a FAT HEAD.....
To be honest, I'd rather play against Doyle than Annette Obrestad. She's a pretty solid agressive tournament player. And I've seen Doyle make a lot of amateurish plays over the years. He's a great player but sometimes he needs to anticipate and fold earlier in pots when there's no reason to risk your whole stack. But anyways that makes him unpredictable cause he doesn't play by nowadays tournament "standards".
But anyways we can't compare, because we see Doyle playing mostly cash games on TV and I don't think I ever saw her play a deep stack high stakes cash game when you risk a lot more than a tournament BI... I think she would be a lot more passive in this format.

Hey,.....I just noticed this thread is 3 years old.....???!!! ....so I'll answer as if it WAS 3 years ago...
Holy crap old man,....you DON'T want to tangle with THAT BEAST .... She will SQUASH you like a pancake, then eat you with syrop and use your over-sized pants for a napkin....
I would rather play against Doyle Brunson than the donks playing online poker at the moment. Doyle Brunson himself says he folds AQ if someone raises into him. Go online and if a player gets AQ then every chip goes in the middle..
Doyle, despite being a legend, is old fashioned in his play, and against online players he just can't compete.
Hellmuth likewise is a great live player, but put him in an online game and he's no better than your average mid stakes player. He, like Doyle cannot cope with the online game which is so different to live games.
