AQ  0
I played this in live game.

blinds are 2€.
I raise 20€. One player raises to 40€. Others fold, I call.

Flop QQ7

I raise all in 130€. Other calls, turn 9, river J.

I show AQ, other shows JJ. Aww crap!

Now how unlucky is that, I could undestand if he called pocket 77, but this was mad.

With two Q's on the board it was unlikely that you have another Q, so he thought his jacks are still good. Loose play, easy stackoff.

I dont believe that, come on I called his raise 40€. He knew I could have very good cards.

Blinds 2 and you raise 20? Most of time people raise high the cards they are not 100% sure like AK... and your AQ ass well. So he was thinking you have some AK maybe. wb/wa

AK is even better than AQ.

Ouch! thats just poor luck!
But i tell you... thats why i just love playing pocket pairs Big Smile
Ofcourse i wouldnt call a massive raise with 22 but id call with the JJ your op did.
But might have layed it down with your all in!
You did the right thing in my eyes Blink
Just unlucky.
I agree with ZmxPowah he prob put you on AK.

More thoughts. He could thought I had A7 suited.
But I dont call that big raise with suited ace pre flop.
And when hit two pairs, I go all in he would had higher two pairs...

Or that I had example 10 10, that makes sense to call pre-flop 40€ raise. And then try to bluff the pot away.

The real problem is I didnt have enough chips, if I had 300€ and raise that all in, he would most likely fold. But now as he had already 40€ in pot, and he could win 260€ if he pays only 90€ more.
hard to fold then.

so now you gonna tell us AQ is a good hand (in a reraise)...

rubish.

Your range is clear:
AK or a pocket. AQ is really... well.... it is possible as he minraised... but obv. i would call jacks there too.

I have to go with this:
- raising 10bbs with AQ preflop is madness
- calling a 40bb reraise with AQ is beyond madness
- flop play is alright I guess, but the hand was doomed from the start.

This was a live game. Play is looser there, so one has to bet bigger to thin out the field.

Actually it was just a min reraise. But calling a reraise with AQ out of position is debatable.

very unlucky for u but the other player can call with jj i agree with the other comments. And yeah raising 10BB with AQ preflop is too much.

Im surprised how many of yall say you call in flop after QQ7 with JJ

If has Q then chance to win with JJ is 7%.
