i think its a bad beat when ur all in AK someones got A10 and another A4 and 5 6 7 8 comes on the flop/turn. i've seen it happen a few times when the worst hand preflop wins. and its even worse when the person who wins is the arshole who keeps bettin all in with nothin and catchin the flop with cards like 4 7 beating KK. u can't call it bad beat if a low pair beats a higher pair cos that happens all the time and its a chance u gota take. u can't get mad if uv vr won a hand urself wen u were dominated. bad beats are part of what poker is about. if u didnt hav the chance of catchin runner runner it wudn't b as xciting. u c it all the time on tv and uv got to admit its gr8. as for catching that royal flush to beat that full house that is one awsome bad beat. id hate to b that guy who lost!!!

i didnt think that there was so many different views on bad beats lol but not any othe then can really eally be wrong a bad beat is really any kind of beat lol specially depending on how much bankroll you have and lose lol
but yea most of the time its when your almost certian to win and God comes down and decides different making the river a miracle one
Sorry i did not read all of these posts (only 1st and last) in my mind bad beats is : Care beats Full House and when AK AA QQ KK beaten by 22 33 34 and another pocket pairs and not pocket pairs like 910 10J and another and another

hi ya all i wouldm't say this was a bad beat more emmbasing if anytihng it was last summer and i was round at my sister for a bbq we had loads of friends and famaly round and a few of us decided to play poker so we sat down got the chips out and my nepthew who was 4 at the time wanted to play he had an idea of gamebut not all of it so we would have helped him as it was only for fun anyhow we dealt the cards and when it got to my nethew he said all in so i tried to tell him to save some for the nexr hand he wouldnt have it tho so we let him everyone folded apart from me because when i looked at my cards i had pocket kings so i called only to find he had ace queen of trees thats what he calls them (but to you and me there clubs) and what would you know he hits a flush i went out first hand to a 4 year old and have never lived it down since my mates all still rip me and say when we have a poker night bring my nepthew to help me well thought i fd share this with you all anyhow
