Id take 77 almost everytime... made hand blah. Obv flipping but i like the idea of not having to hit to win. Try to avoid flips where possible but i guess in this scenario weve already got it in and have been called and have to choose what we would rather have? 77....errrr AK....errrrrr nah 77 Actually, prob prefer to be ai and called if i had AK as im quite unlikely to be crushed. F it, either loool, wouldn't be particularly happy either way rofl.

AK fan due to being left open to hit on the A or K, I'm far from experienced, but I try basing my call on what was on the previous hand. Maybe not a common thing to do, seems to have been working better for me. Inexperienced and learning from most of you players here at BRM.

Oh great thread lol just have been kicked out of tournament by coinflip had AK suited :} against 77.. :} flop was something like this 2610 then turn K and river Q :}
Sad because only 150ppl was left 50paid it was setalite :/

Green, little tip mate, and i dont mean to sound condescending at all, but the prev hand has absolutely nothing to do with new hand. Im sure you know that already and just use it as a little superstitious thing, but it could end up being a big leak in your game :] Good luck with everything m8.

well flips... never ending story i guess. But still i mean, in cg it will not matter and in a tourney... you know... you will need to win some to go really deep. you cant always wait to be in a big lead.

no depends about the level of the game...if i m on the first steps of the game i prefer to fold both in middle position if two was all in before me..if i m in the midle steps of the game....i pay all in or push with AK but no pay with 77...in the late steps of tournament i pay all ins with both hands

I wouldn't all in with 77 unless I was short stacked or someone else all inned and I knew they were on tilt, because there always seems to be a higher set of pockets out there. However, I'd rather have the 77 if I was all in preflop. I lost the 20 FTP satelite a little while ago with AK to 77. lol

Was in the freeroll today, guy to the right of me goes all in with raises 2x bb, I reraise 10x bb and he quick calls flop 8 2 5 with 2 hearts he checks, Im all in AA he calls A5 and 5 hits on turn. I double him up. After him constantly Raising my BB if noone else in hand I reraise him all in with my 77 against his A 4 Flop QQ8 J 8. I lose to 2 pair QQ88 A high. The sweet revenge for me was he was outed a few hands later and I managed to end up in 8th Place
Personally I would feel better with AK but I am not experienced enough to know the odds and statistics.

Hey guys why do waste time thinking do you choose 77 or AK.... don't understand that. U won't be able to choose in tournament so who cares? Both hands are easy pushable/raise. Ofc AK is a better hand because in the worst scenario it will have coins flips mostly cause it's blocking the possiblity od AA and KK. And 77 most of time will have coins flips if someone call. To bad u never can't decide so it's pointless to think about it to much.

oh well, if someone calls yoiu will really often have no Coinflip with 77 at all! 77 is still a hand you are really fast dominated with.... i mean possible calls are TT+ imo. (ok, still depending on stacksizes.

poket pair allways was the better decision preflop and allways have 51 % or more % to win preflop so for my style poker playing if someone who have higher stack push all in i allways fold my 77 or higher till 1010 poket the same with ak if i want to stay at the game i must fold but poket pair is better for me so i ll vote for 77 good luck and have fun
