Poker Adventures part 2 EPT Dublin  +1
Well, i'm not going to tell everything i experienced overthere, too much to write
but next day i was free. Through the whole week i partied 2 times in Dublin,
played golf with 2 Titan players and Todd Brunson and friend, took a helicoter flight
with titan players, got a poker seminar from Doyle Brunson, Sorrel Mitzi, Neil Channing
and Ram Vaswani. I managed to score a nice Irish blond lady(no i won't post pics Smile )
had super meals every day and really enjoyed the good life Cool .
Now back to poker: at day 3 i started playing again at got no cards at all, no hits
and as the blinds and ante's were high i was condemned to blind and ante stealing.
Just before dinner break, i was really short-stacked i managed to double-up with JJ
against AQ . Sweet relief. After dinner the descend began: I was dealed K10 of harts
in de big blind. 2 people and sb call and i thought about putting out a big(bluff) raise
but was chicken. Flop: 8h, 9h, Qh! I thought yes! I tried not to show my exitement Cool
sb checked, i checked and next player bets 3/4 pot. Fold, fold, my turn. I think:
this guy can't be holding Ah and as he's shortstacked all-inn means he's pot committed.
He calls and the cards open up: he has Ah and Qc! He just flat called! Turn 8s, river....
......2h!. I could just cry Sad Aww crap! . Kept my cool, i had very small stack left and waited
for an all-inn chance. Got 1010 2 hands before i would be eaten by the BB. I pushed
but got a call with JJ and the dream was over... From that moment on i started playing
Sng's and cash games, including a special cashgame: The Pro's were playing alot of
highstakes cashgames(1000/2000 Euro Blinds) and i watched a lot, it was very crowded
round those tables. So as a special gesture a couple of them gave amateurs(me) a chance
to play with the pro's and they sat down at tables with 5/10 blinds. I played 2 hours
with Dario Mineri, Todd Brunson, Roland de Wolfe and 3 Titan qualifiers. I managed
to finish with 950 Euro+.(Don't really now if they were playing seriously, for them
these blinds are nothing). On Saturday i entered a 500 euro side-event( they were
many side events whole week and 24/7 sng and cash games) The main event had a
3 million prizepool. The event i entered had 312 entrants and 40 places paid.
I went out in 20th position taking 3.100 Euro. I was shortstacked and reraised all-inn
with AK, only to get called by KK and ..out. I was still satisfied, i had a great week.
On the last i watched the final table to see Neil Channing taking down the
800.000 euro 1th prize. That night i flew home a poker addict for life, a wad of cash
in my wallet and enough material for some pretty good future dreams........ Cool

I would like to here about other Mobster live poker adventures Smile
