yeah poker requires you to put lot of hours, its a game of patience and endurance. many players who play long hours work too and many multitable i personally have a very flexible schedule with no fixed hours of sleeping

Wow, somebody from New Zealand here, great - and welcome to this forum. I guess you will like it here. Regarding the 25 freerolls: Thats really crazy, I play maybe 3 or 4 in the evening.

Hi Kid. I am one of those who play for 12 - 14 hours per day and my reason for doing that is to gain experience and to check out my own limits. As is says in the film "sleep is for wimps".
i prefer sleep and play well . if you don't sleep you can't recharge your energy . i work 10-11 hours for a day and i nedd almoust 8 hours of sleep. so i can play max 2 or 3 hours at day.

This time is more difficult to score points for leaderboard. there are more freerolls than the other times and they start 90 mins apart. plus the prize money is less cause of that so either you need a final table finish or many more in lower places

When I was in my teens and twenties I could go around the clock, and especially when I was working night shift the amount of times I went 22-26 hours without sleep, occasionally hitting 38-44 hours, was pretty high. These days I need less sleep overall, but no way can I do those crazy days like I used to!
IMO you have to go to sleep and wake up on the same time everyday. SOme people say that you need to sleep k*3 hours (where k is 1, 2, 3 etc.), but IMO it doesn't work. Sometimes I'm fresh after 7 hours of sleep, sometimes ten. I don't see a real difference when I sleep 9 or 6 hours comparing to 10 or 7. But I think you have to have fixed hours of sleep, because even if it'll be just 6 hours the body after some time should adjsut to it. Also I won't play when I'm tired, because it affects my game and that's not what I want to happen.

it not hard if you get knocked out early you join another freeroll, some poor players get to play up to 50 in a night
I'm a night person...been that way all my life.my energy level goes way up when the sun goes down.in my field I had to repair and maintain aircraft at night so I was well suited for that work. Most times I cant sleep at night so I picked up poker playing. There's always a game goin on somewhere. I can function during the day but Im more effective at night.
