Of course not in a row of 11 hands, but no top hand stands today. It must be donkey day on full tilt . Lost twice with aces against kings in one tourney. Both got 4 of a kind
Just every fuc..... 1 or 2 outer hit the river.....
Strange. And SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO -EV
I think i quit poker for a while now. Right now i am still in a tourney. Lost with Kings again against 44. But won with every tilt-donk move. 26o - double up of course against QQ by flopping a straight. SO I'm gonna play this last one now and then take a break until I feel like poker can be fun again not just stupid-welfare.

Ha ha, that sucks dude. Downswings are a part of the game though. What's important is how you respond to them. You're right to take a break for a while. Relax and try to forget all about, then when you come back, start fresh. Don't forget about bank roll management, without it these sort of downswings will bankrupt you.
that happens sometimes lost with AA and KK alot against bad hands at pokerstars so stopped playing for a week then came back and won 1st place in a 1000$ depositers freeroll.

Wow, that really bad luck, loosing all those big Pocketpairs. I guess you are doing it right, take a break and if you forgot about these bad beat, come back and win them again

I had aa 3 times in a row playing a 10 dollar sit n go the guy had 100 chips left to to my 1400 and i lost the table to. It is amazing sometimes how often it can go tits up but it does so have a big bank roll and play small it's only way to avoid variance.
I remember 2 years back I had a day like that on FTP as well, every rockets and cowboys literally just died....and it was also more than 10 in all. I believe I just stop and went for a bloody long swim to let off steam!

Ouch. I generally take at least a small break at that point, otherwise I RAPIDLY deplete my bankroll in an angry frenzy.. Plus I start abusing people at the tables lol.
I once lost AA simultaneously on 4 tables at once, was deep in 4 MTTs, I couldn't believe, went from feeling top of the world (getting dealt AA on all 4 tables) to feeling like breaking things and hurting people.

The trick in poker is to know in advance or, at least, very fast, when we are in a downswing. If do identify the moment, we should try to adopt another posture for the game. Its like antecipating a move, find out what cards will be at the table. You dont tell us about it, but perhaps you never went all-in preflop with those pairs, because you wanted to maximize profits. Start making different moves for the same hands. The worst thing a poker player can have is to always play the same hands in the same way. Perhaps i read few, but never read a book saying we shouldnt play always the same way, but if we do we turn ourselves easier to read for our oponents.

Downswings do suck and it seems they only happen to you but we all get them,i tend to play more tables, take more risks ,drink beer ,get abusive and wake up with no bankroll,so a break is prob the best idea.. keep cool and gl when you hit the tables next

Went Allin Preflop most of the times because i got those hands in good positions mostly and found a pot already in the middle when it was my turn. So even if everyone folded i would have been happy.
Slow rolled twice, maybe 3 times... First Time Hit an Ace on the Flop.... But a king was up too. My opponent makes a huge bet and i reraise allin. And the river brought the 4th King giving my opponent 4 of a kind. Once re-raised from 2 to 5 BB with Kings and got called. Flop came 4 7 Q I then went allin and get called by J7o. Turn is a J of course...and just as if Full Tilt wanted me to freak out completly they even served him another 7 on the river.
It was just a horrible day on which everything went wrong that possibly could. Or better: Everything went perfect - except for the rivers
So I'm now gonna take care of my websites, play soccer a lot and play the "No Fucking CHips left in my Stack" Blues on my guitar. hope that when I feel like playing poker again this streak has come to an end.
Good Luck ( or at least not too much bad luck ) for all of You at the Tables in the meantime.

wow, it must suck big time, my friend, i'm really sorry to hear
But i'm sure you know you should expect this from happening from timt to time, of course it's a bit too much for a single day, but i think what you want to do is the good way: take some days off from poker, they will really help.
In the meantime also read more poker strategy and poker books and also watch some training videos, they really do wonders for me after i hit such a bad period at the tables, and after i come back i usually win more than i first lost actually
