No. But i did verify my account there right from the start. You will get a snail mail from them with a code you have to use on the website, at least it was so a few years ago, when i did it.
The only reason I can think of is that you have hit your deposit or withdrawal limit and they need to verufy your account to increase the limit, if i am not mistaken they have a limit for a 90day period.

If you verife your account by post and bank a/c your limit will go upto 21,000 per 90 day peried.
YOUR CURRENT TRANSACTION LIMITS
Your outgoing transaction limit 21000.00 EUR / in any 90 day period Remaining 21000.00 EUR Your credit/debit card deposit limit 0.00 EUR / in any 60 day period Remaining 0.00 EUR Your per transaction limit 10000.00 EUR
If I verife a credit card i'll get anouther 1000 on my limit.

Thanks for your answers / information. I have not reached the 90 days limit by far (only made minimum deposits and withdrawals with Party Poker) ! Thats why I am wondering that I have to verify it now, after several month.

Go into your monybookers account and click on view limit and you will see it there: without verify your a/c the limit is verry low.

The reason is not the limit, still over $7000 availabe. I have no emailed them to the security email adress with a copy of my passpord. Hopefully this will work and everything will work like the months before.

Never had this type of prblems with moneybookers but you must contact their support, they have probably one of the best supports out there and you get an answer in a day
Probably you didn't verified your account and this could be the problem, i personally fully verified my account from beginning and i had no problems....
Now contact their support ans ask what was the problem, probably they ask you to verify your identity and the account

That is strange MIGO14. I initially guessed like everyone else that it was a limit issue when I first started reading, but you made it clear that that is not the case. I haven't had this same experience so far so I guess you'll just have to contact support and see what's up. Let us know how you make out. Good luck.

I did the verifications when i opened the moneybookers account and didnt have any problems since then. Have you verified your address info?. They might ask you for that verification in future eitherway before cashing out from moneybookers

i got that message when trying to make a transfer once. actually was my fault coz i made the wrong maths and tried to withdraw 1 euro more than what i had in the account. thats why it asked me to verify the account and stuff, so i would have a credit approved to ow them 1 euro from a 5000 limit or something like that.

@holtland: Whats up with you man ? @all: Thanks for the info. I can´t remeber exactly but I guess I never verified my adress, because they never asked me to do it and everything worked fine for about 3 month. As I wrote above I have now emailed them a copy of my passport, hopefully this will do the job.

So far I have had only good experiences with Moneybookers over the year and a half that I have used them. I don’t remember whether or not I verified my account with them, but I don’t see why you wouldn’t, I have found them trustworthy.

been using my moneybookers for near 2 years , still to verify it or reach limits. maybe they are doing random checks or there security systems detected something but doesnt matter, surely your account will be fully operational after verification. gl

Thats the first step indeed, to be more precise that the ID verification, in rder to verify your address and increase your limit you need to recieve a letter from moneybookers with a pass that you need to add on your account
The process is totally free and also increase you limit, or you can send them a copy of a bill thats on your name or a bank statement and you get the same result
Do all this verifications in order to not encounter further delays in the future, it could really suck to need money and your account to be blocked...

Today I got an answer from them that the quality of the copy of my passport is too bad. So I have to send them better documents. In addition they asked me about my lock in history and I guess this is the reason for verifying my account, because I locked in with several IP adresses (from work, from home with anonymising program)

That might be the reason. They do often checks in IP addresses, and thats good. Its obvious they give attention to this when you enter the site. Scan your passport and if you dont have a scanner take a pic with a camera with 5MP at least.

Yeah, I assume this was the reason. Now they wrote me again that they can´t read the documents I have sent to them. So today I made a colour copy of my passport, enlarged it and sent it to them. Hopefully this will solve the problem now.

This actually happend to many friends, but you don't need to worry too much, if you send them the documents they asked you'll have your account reopened in a day or so
Moneybookers has probably one of the best online supports out there. My advice would be that after they check your ID, to fully verify your account
You'll also increase the limits of your account this way since you never know when you'll need to make a larger transfer
