Is this world wide like it was during the last stint? Or is it just us idiotic Brits that seam to have an interest in this crap? I was made up after C4 dumped it, and could just about bare it when C5 came back with celeb BB, but just spotted there is now another launch....So for the next however long its on Im going to hear, have you been watching big brother, again. If I want to watch a bunch of cunts make a twat of themselves I can go the pub.

i started watchin last season and watched this season.. reasons really simple. summer time all my regualor shows csi/criminal minds/ect and the wifes shows 90210/degrassi.gossip girl ect are all repeats so big brother is the only run-on show really around to watch. can be intertaining at times and usually some hot chicks

I used to watch big brother. I can't say why exactly but it was strangely compelling. You could say real life can be more entertaining than fiction. We all gossip about people we know. I often hear people talking about someone I don't know and I can't help but listen in. But the real reason I watched big brother was probably that I was a teenager and I thought there may be tits. Unfortunately UK big brother wasn't as raunchy as the copies around the world.
The original show was an interesting concept, showing real life and our obsession with watching, but the problem is, it's no longer reality. The whole thing is staged, the situations are forced, and it's edited to show what the producers want to show. Just like the x factor it's shameless manipulation, mind numbing entertainment and geared to make money over quality. It should have been put to bed but I suppose it will go on until viewers get bored of it.

i watched the first episode of season 1 as it came out for the first time in germany...10years ago? that was also the last time i watched this BS. i doubt one of these people would act in real life the same way as they act on TV. i mean...none is him self (authentic) but everyone plays a role. its far far away from reallity.. and whenever i accidently zap to this show i see someone crying, even grown men cry like babys. im not saying you as men may not cry....but uhh where the heck do they get this 200pounds heavy weighing babys who cry like you stole their candy. im no big fan as you see.

I must admit, I did watch some of the very first one, and a bit of the 2nd and it was interesting, but as said above its now just full of wannabes, egos...just plain horrid star hungry people. I would like to see a twist, turn it in to a cludo game, let them gett up one day to see a house mate in a pool of blood, have BB leave them in the dark(not talk to them), then that night spike them with LSD....I will watch that night.

Its the biggest load of shite on the tv,arsenej1,we have jersey shore over here,along with towie Chelsea,Geordie shore etc,they call themselves reality tv (b******t)its a bunch of puppets performing,reality tv is things like cops,police interceptors,seaside rescue,Coronation street etc...

I liked the first one some years ago. was a new idea back then and ppl who entered didnt knew that if they behaved like horny cheating f***ers they would last longer on the show... from then on i stopped watching. gradually became dumber and so obviously scripted that irritates me to the bone.

i used to watch the first couple of series when it was interesting,the last few years on channel 4 it was like watching paint dry(absolute crap) maybe channel5 can breathe new life into it

Same here. My wife watches it while I play poker on the laptop, and some of the women are reasonably hot so good eye candy. Still can't understand how it all works, but then haven't tried hard to figure it out either! I suppose if Big Brother wasn't on I would hear those dreaded words at night more often: honey, we need to talk.

So far it seams that we are forced to watch, whenever I flick on to it I get that screaming baby vibe, you know, when a baby has been screaming for hours and the core of you brain starts to melt, I think BB does some brainwashing, and I'm not kidding, I cant stand it, yet know at some stage I will flick it on, possibly to punish myself..TV is bad okayyyy

Haha, never have 4 simple words struck more fear in a person than the dreaded "We need to talk". I mean it's never followed by something like: "honey, you don't drink enough beer" or "honey, I don't think you play enough poker" or "honey, I think I should get a boob job to get bigger ones" or "honey, I noticed you think my friend nancy with the big hooters is hot, maybe we should invite her over for a 3-way."
I suppose if Big Brother wasn't on I would hear those dreaded words at night more often: honey, we need to talk.
