its always good to remember to make some backups for the important porn and such lol. if ur lazy like me the best solution is to get urself an extra hard drive as secondary and save all documents there. Even if the OS screws up and u have to reinstall, all ur docs r safely separated in the other drive which u dont have to touch at all.

Posted by arsenej1: nothing worse then a computer f**k up wipin out ur porn everytime i get a nice collection it disappears and the wife tells me my computor crashed agin
Just toss the collection and just browse it online Much easier to keep hidden if ya know how
That sucks happened to me when during my computer lab test. Everyone took the good computers and there was 1 left with that repiar manager had to actually fix it then do the test lol....
anyways if you have windows 7 dvd try booting it after restarting your computer and instead of reinstalling just click the repair button when the setup page shows up....that should fix the problem.
I would prefer an external harddrive quick and easy to backup files onto and any other important things and you can find some really cheap ones...

PC always have the last word when you are dealing with them. Its no matter trying to be right. They only move if we put them to move, but they are always right because it were human beings who did them, so its us who have to be wrong when things don’t work.

You ever use it to run a OS from it? or just for storing files?
Posted by SuperNoob: used to run OS about 1 year ago, now was only used for storage
Youl shouldn't format using NTFS for external harddrives, usb flash drivers if they aren't going to run a OS as NTFS has no use over FAT32 when it comes to storing files only.
Don't both trying anything old then FAT32 useless and too old.
Trying formatting again using:
File system: FAT32 Allocation unit size: 4096 bytes
If you checked "Quick format" try unchecking it. A normal format is better as it has something similar to chkdsk.
If that doesn't work try quick format.
I guess if you get the same problems and the External HD as a warranty try contacting the manufacturer you should get a replacement.

not sure on this one. if anyone has a Wii and gets errornot readable eject disk and refer to manual it is the lazer reader that is s**tted. Happened to me searched the web found dealsextream lots of cool cheap s**t on there plus found a new lazer eye for my Wii for ten dollars everywhere else was like $80 plus. u need a ti-wing screw driver, tamper proof screws .99 cents u have to totally disassemble but good vids on utube to help. Got it back together and it worked felt pretty special

thanks a lot for replyin man
i did normal format in fat32 , 4096 bytes but when saving files there seems to be loss in data. e.g. if i save a video file, it loses frames/part of picture in frames when saving rar files, they cant be uncompressed laters
looks like will hav to be replaced but i shifted places and wont get chance to go at old place for few weeks, so thought maybe it can be fixed.
this partition wizard has a swipe disc feature, will giv it a try too

No problem buddy
Hmm try replacing the USB cable it might be a cable problem.
Or try copying the same file again overwriting it and see what happens.
If you have another usb flash driver you can try transferring the same file and see what happens. It also could be usb port problem so try plugging into a different usb port than the one you were using.
