High Pulse...serious players please  -1
I posted some of what was happening last night in the High Pulse "Overlay" thread.
After another day at the tables, some things are becoming quite obvious.
Read on, it is very interesting.

I mentioned the incredible boards that keep hitting the table, the excessive sets, straights, 2 card hits etc. that I have been seeing now for 3 days.
It just does not stop.

I tried playing "Donk" even, went in with garbage, and hit both cards, or a full house on the flop, or sets..... Shock ...SO many times !

I was chatting with some better players, and they have all noticed the same things.
You see more trips in one day than you do in a week/month on any other site.
I am not joking here. Something is definitely wrong.

They are still working out a lot of bugs, as you can see from some of the other posts, but IMO there is also something wrong with the "random" card generators.

I´ll be first in line to smash a Rigtard, so I am not saying this "lightly".

So I would like to see some impressions from the regular players (no rigtards allowed!) Angry
(I´m sure they will jump at this anyway Smile ).

FOR THE RIGTARDS:
tHIS IS NOT A rIGTARD THREAD! Rigtards complain and lose. I am winning and NOT complaining.

As I started writing this, I called an all-in with 86, and hit a Full House on the Flop.
The most "normal" thing in the world on HP, so I was not surprised.

Just now, I called an all-in with 23...and hit a straight.
It just does not stop.

If you want to hear what happened last night, read this thread:
http://www.bankrollmob.com/forum.asp?mode=thread&id...

The problem with all this is that it is almost impossible to hit a final table unless you get SUPER lucky.
I´ve done it only a couple of times in 100++ tournaments, and made 2nd only once.
(He won because he hit both his cards on the turn and river (surprise surprise)

So many monster hands are being beat by trips mostly, it´s almost impossible to play decent Poker and make it to the end, even with the HUGE supply of fishes who really dont have a clue (worse than anything I´ve ever seen! They really cannot play at all!)

All serious "experiences" welcome with your thoughts please.
I want to try and clear this one up. Blink

I got that feeling from them initially too, but now I'm not sure what to think. Here's my two cents (for what they're worth).

I first started getting this feeling while playing omaha (which I have no prior experience with). I quickly realized the hard way that good hands are more common in omaha. And so the trouble is I've been bouncing back and forth between them so I wrote that feeling off.

What I can say for sure is I'd help participate in some data collection. I'm sure if we all pitched in we might be able to get a reasonable sample size to make inferences based off of.

Does them having a license count for something? That means for sure the LGA of Malta has tested their RNG for fairness right?

------------
Also I just wanted to say, I know you have a lot of experience and I respect that, so I'll be following this thread and helping if possible.

Rigtard or not, I give something to it. I want to get out of this rigbulls**t-case. Maybe its good to hear all voices. Wrote about these things earlier in another thread. The day before yesterday I was constantly losing with made monsters to any s**t and I can confirm what OP describes. Although I am not losing there in summery. Made 2 FTs in GTD Tourneys the last two nights. But theres something special with the rng. It´s like walking on ice. So after I really got tilted, I changed my strategy accordingly now - picking my spots and kill or fold me to the bubble.

Hi Island!
I have played my first freeroll on high pulse last night and finished ln 17th place (god deam, should of played more of them). Havent noticed anything strange. My KJ lost to QJ at the end but that is standard... I havent plyed much hands tho...
Anyway, I believe in what you are saying. I had same expirience with that Betraiser site so I really think that some sites dont have exactly random generators...

Have no clue, have no account at HP and not planning to.
Its just converted from beta too real money, but they have a license if i am right.
I am allways bit dodgy about new pokernetworks, allways let other players try them out before my money is on them.

Had the same feeling about action poker, only played there when my roll started and gettin free roll there.

You have to proof the absolut fairness of your games if you apply for a license at the lotteries and gaming authority of malta, this includes the RnG(RandomNumberGenerator).

If you really think HPP is "rigged" in any kind of way you should contact the lotteries and gaming authority of malta at : www.lga.org.mt and let them take a look.

I personally didnt witnessed anything suspicious at HPP so far, just normal variance but the software bugs are tilting me badly.

well there´s alot gays who dont dare to admit they gay, they even hate gays. but they, thats just a example.

just like if you say "im no rasist" but damn......i so much hate the black guys around my corner lol.

it sick to judge who "may" talk about being rigged and "who may not".

cmon...what else should this be as a hidden accusation?

allthough i know hes not that kind of player who pretend poker is rigged or somerhing, but its still funny....

edit: i do have a OT question tho. is high pulse a 3D software or something? my videocard broke, so right now i only have onboard grafik, and when i tried to install/launch high pulse my pc shut down.

My email is

Dont post your e-mail, and stick to the thread you have already created

OT - HP is going to have all sorts of crazy stuff happening, its been running for a while in beta, lots of them players are not real players, its as good as play money to them, lots of them will be multi accounting and plenty will have no means to cash out, so the play there is going to be strange.
lots of bad beats...just eat the fish.

The REASON I am posting this is because I already have 2 sites where my Bankroll is unusable, FT and PS (see my Belgian/Pokerstars thread).

I deposited €20 (now €50) and am wary that if something is indeed up, that bankroll might be blocked sometime soon if they discover errors in their programming. It won´t take long IMO if that is the case.

Kind of fed up with seeing my Bankrolls disappear. Big Smile

I was chatting with a player who plays Omaha, and he said the same thing about those tables.
The cards hitting the deck are unlike any other site, and he definitely had the feeling something was way off.

I really want to know where I´m playing, and if there is a way to get stats info out of our hands, I definitely want to give it a go.
My Holdem Manager is acting up, but I´ll probably have time tomorrow to fix it and import my hands.
Don´t know if there is a better progran to import hands and get some statistics?
Any advice is welcome.

I mentioned the "bad Beat" thing in the Overlay post, the HUGE number of all-ins and how this could affect what I´m seeing. But it doesnt seem enough to explain what goes on.
Eating the Fish, sure, but at what cost?
Going all-in xxx number of times is unavoidable with these "players" Big Smile , but when it costs you the tourney (especially the real money tourneys) when villain hits a Full on the river when he has trips against your nut flush...you get pissed.
That´s a lot of BIG hands.
Of course, it doesn´t hurt as much when you do it yourself with garbage like 23. Smile

The thing is, it´s not Poker, and tough to handle the "varience", if you can call it that.
Most are turbo´s except the €8.80 and up. Blinds 3 min increasing to 5 min.
So all-ins are crucial.
You still collect playing semi-decent, but you also lose a bunch of "easy" tournaments to a bunch of this stuff which sets you back every time.
(Poker, I know Big Smile )

Oh yes, as I´m playing, just saw KK get a set on the flop, and reminded me that My KK have turned into sets SOOO many times, it´s ridiculous.

Anyway, I will not exagerate with this thread, and hope that it´s all untrue in the end. And just a result of the ridiculous play. But I want to find out, just in case this becomes a "regular" site for me.

Thanks for the input, and I will continue later or tomorrow.

lol Big Smile
And due to the blind structure, it seems to start off REAL slow...and then takes off!
Most tourneys are between 1 and 2 hours max.

I have been playing on pulse for about 3 months I think, In all that time it has really just been the same as any other site I have played on, card wise.

So nothing to report here! Thumbs Up

The last 3 months have been facebook Poker.
Do you play "real" Poker, for money?
That´s the only way to tell the difference really.

I´m now comparing especially the "Overlay" tournaments with other sites.
At least there is "real" money involved and the play is a "little" less donkish.
Still seems WAY off to me...the Full houses are a dime a dozen..
Never had so many myself..not even close.
Even had 2 straight flushes, which I´ve only hit twice in 2 years on all other sites together... Shock

Yes mate! play mostly cash, but tournys too. I just meant that it seems no different to me than every other site I have played on, the way the cards come down, not the way people play, as that makes no difference.

as for what I experienced: In a matter of 2 hours I floped a nut flush 3 times .. yeeeee... just to get sucked out 2 times against quads and 1 against fullhouse. 3 times in 2 hours lost my allins in cash game nl25. Aww crap! I play alot on many other sites and cant remember when that has happened to me before.
