Fermenting Hard Apple Cider  0
I collected tons of apples today and began pressing them all one at a time (tedious I know but we happen to have only one old little hand operated antique, works good though).

Any thought on how to do this: Recipes, Tips or what not.

Also any ideas on what to do with the left over apple meat? There's tons of it, it'd be a shame to let it go to waste.

Yeah... Cats and dogs eat a lot of apples...

We have an apple tree, and the only animal I have seen stealing apples, are different birds, the lagrest would be a duck. So if you have ducks, let them go for it.

A moose might also be interested. But make sure the apples does not containn alcohol, because that might make the moose very cocky. It happens every now and then in Sweden, and they have to be shot, because they are runnig round in malls ans sh*t making trouble. No, I'm not joking. A drunk moose is the worst!

True story.

Well, it may sound funny, and it is, at a distant. But when you got that m/f in your living room, it suddenly stops being all that fun. (This has happened in Sweden too.) Moose are real nice animals, but they are mean drunks.

Take it from an old man: Keep them off the sauce!

Thumbs Up

this story remembered me when, with a friend of mine, made his little dog drink a full glass of gasoline: the pet started running fast as never seen before and after more or less two minutes suddenly lied down on the floor

Wow, crazy, just wondering though, when he lay down, did you pull his tail to see if he would start again.

@CJ: Awesome good links, I was following a simple recipe that I found but I think I'll tweak it using some of this info.

I'll let you all know how it turned out in a month or so.

I was a bit worried myself first, but he is just kidding.

BTW: Here is a moose that was drunk and got stuck in a tree. In the clip they have spent a few hours sawing branches off and getting it down. And now it's hang-over as f*ck...
