Hi everyone, here come another poll
So the question is simple today : how much hands you ever played since you started poker (with SnG's and Ring games) ?
I think it's an interesting question to consider how much experimented you are. Also, considering this number of hands, its interesting to look at your own stats and think maybe to change your way of playing if u see yourself losing money for a huge amount of money
How to calculate this ? just make an estimation of the number of hands you play in a single sng, then check how much sng's you've played (with a tracker or a ranking site). For cashgame, its the same, check a site or in your tracker to find out how much hands. I dont think to much precision is required, an estimation is enough

Oh dear god, I honestly have no idea. I've played around 6000 sngs at least, but the majority of them were at full Tilt, and due to having to re-install windows a few times, as well as switching between PT3 and HEM, I've lost a good chunk of my HH here and there.

I attempted to do a rough calculation and although I've only got a little over a year I believe I'm above the 10,000 hand level. Like mentioned above! When I would play RUSH poker on FT for hours on end for practice I can't imagine how many hands were played, but SnG's / tournies alone have to be close to the 10.000 mark. This has got me curious though! About how many hands are played in a 45 player SnG if you make the final table?

Ever played hands? I really don’t know, but it were a lot. I estimate around the 350,000 but it is hard to say without a counter. Some sites gives us that info, which is very interesting, although we can always erase counters and that will just makes us lose all that info. Looking for my nicks on the net only give me a part of my history. And I must have played more in ring than in SnG’s, although I usually play SnG’s, but when I play ring, I do it with four tables during almost as much time as I do with a single SnG.
I've got a program that lists every every thread in my computer. Just type in "poker" and I've got everything. All the hand histories and I've deleted lots from sites I don't play at anymore. Bach deleted afew pages of files, used to play alot on microgaming network later on included ipoker network. Estimate about 100k+/-. Played at UB, Absolute, FT, Stars back in the begining.

hello everyone does someone know where I can look how many hands I've played at pokerstars? I really can't estimate it. But I think it should be over 400k

Try using a program like PT3 or HEM and have them load all your hand histories. Good programs because they not only keep track of every game/hand played, you can also use the built in HUD for player stats.
