hello my name is cory and i am a donkey... HI CORY  0
hello mobsters i am writing this to say that even though i complain about getting donked my level of play is no where near where it should be and to top it off i am very easly brought in by the casino games.

in like 2 hours i blew through my 50 dollars i won in christmas draw mostly on video poker. i dont know what got into me i guess its the demon thats always been there. i was given a chance a descent bankroll and still i am grinding the freerolls.

it seems the gambler in me is to much to handle if only i would have invested that 50 in stars where there is no casino.

I have had my problems with online casinos too, and all I can suggest is that you only gamble what you can afford to lose. If you need help then get it. 888 doesn't allow me to choose how much I bring to their casino from my roll, so typically I take most of it save for the $20 or so I want to use, and sit out alone at a poker table with the rest of it. That way if it goes I don't have the rest right there in front of me to keep going. Avoid tilt when you are at the casino, if you feel tilty turn off the computer and take a fifteen minute break. Several forum members have admitted to problems with control when at the casino, I have had to learn control the hard way, and in general want to avoid online casinos going forward. GL

great name of a thread dude- really catches the eye- not a great habit to have, i dont know what to offer- maybe you should set some goals for yourself- type them and put in front of pc, so that whenever you play you will see something like : "don't play in the casino- or else no more beer for two weeks" maybe this will do the trick Big Smile

I have same problem and best advice i can give, is that you should ONLY choose pokkerrooms, where is no casino attatched. No casino at all, addict cant play without losing it all. its like being alcoholic, you cant take just one shot and be happy. you may do it few days and think, ok, i control my drinking now and next day KABOOM

Playing casino games is so bad imo becouse they are MADE to take your money, sure u can win sometimes but its mostly small amount, to me its better to play 1x50$ sng then to play casino games...

if you have problem controlling yourself then you can e-mail their support and they'll block you from the casino games so you can concentrate on poker Thumbs Up

Ah NO! I just replied not long ago to your happy thread. That surely sucks, but I don't think your the only individual who's lost $50 playing electronic casino games so don't beat yourself down to bad.
Maybe this will ease your pain! 5 years ago when my wife and I lived in Arizona we blew $10,000.00 in about a month between Vegas and Laughlin, Nevada. That hurt! I know you just collectedandf had high hopes, but you'll get your chances to prevail. Good Luck to All!

That strong desire to gamble will be a tough habit to shake. One thing to try remember is that Casino games are designed to take a % off you over time. They can't be beat, poker on the other hand can. It's said over and over, and deserves repeating. Bank Roll Management is the only way to win. But if you must gamble you'd be better to up your stakes in poker than to play casino games.

Good luck man.

Well done on the thread mate, I guess all the waiting and anticipation built up so much that you couldn't resist the temptation of it all. The lesson is stay away from casino games and play Poker. Good Luck in the future as uncertain as it is mate. Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile

I dont think you have problem at all. You got your bankroll for free so you just didnt cared about it. If you worked 1 month deposited whole paycheck there and spent it on video poker then i would say you have a problem.

Lol just for the fun of a monsterous quote. ^^

You're welcome. I know it feels like being beaten over the head, but it works. In any case good luck on your free rolls, and good luck on any balance you get next.

Are there any more No Deposit Offers you can qualify for? Take another shot at it?
