well pool didn't go for the title even before the season- they set their sites on a top 4 finish and champions league qualification- and really they sit very well just three points on the fourth place and having in mind that they revamped squad a bit it's normal thing to see them not on top form yet. still everything to play for, 18 games left

Pochui your right, 18 more games left. However, the competition may get stronger and im worried that our squad cant handle it. Suarez out for 8 of them games and Carrol dosent seem up to it yet.
I would love to see a couple of strikers brought in this Jan. Midfield and defence can keep up with the rest when playing on form.

i just wonder if this is what carrol is about- he was untested beast with only one good season (in championship) when suddenly out of the blue sky pool smashed out millions for him... anyway today they are up against the mighty oldham- i believe pool are make some old ham out of oldham

Liverpool versus Manchester today in the FA Cup- normally this is the final match. But i think that Manchester have no chance at the Anfield Road today. 3:1 for Liverpool.

but hey pool managed a double on manchester's (shitty/utd) in one week- to be fair never expected that, probably when you look at the results coming into those games, pool had to lose both of them, so this shows that the results they have achieved are very up-beating for the fans, owners and the coach (not sure about the players, cause it seems players these days are motivated by cash only)
