Greetings Setera, I'm pretty sure it hasn't been scheduled yet. I wasn't around for a few days on the holidays so unless it happened then, it hasn't yet. Don't worry, I'm sure it's in the works and every one will have ample notice to fairly participate.

dont have account at pokerstars so had to take those points. expected more people to be eligible for this but still gl to ev1 participating in the tournament

I got the email and took the points. The day before the freeroll we are going to be visiting friends, which means the kids will be behind in their homework, which means that by the time it starts here at 4:00 PM Sunday they will be whiny, tired and complaining. Try focusing on a poker game with that! Maybe next year...

Seems like a lot of people will be taking the 290 points, just out of curiosity how many are going to? Also, does the prize pool go down as players opt for the points? If so that'll affect which route I'll go. It should be a good value and fun time either way though.
I took the 290 Mob points, since I don't have a PokerStars account yet.
I would probably have played if it was on PartyPoker.
It is very fair of BRM to allow players to get the points instead, since it never occured to me that it would be held on a site where I don't have an account, until after it was finished. This will get me closer to the 5000 Mobpoints required to be able to cache out the 4000 I won cracking the safe...
On the other hand, a $1000 freeroll with only 350 players sounds pretty good also...

Awesome, thanks for clarifying that admin. Also, just wanted to point out that it's extremely generous for you guys to give that option and not reduce the prize pool of the free roll (which would be totally fair). Woot! This is gonna be fun.
