I posted a thread yesterday concerning cashing in some of my Mobpoints via Moneybookers and this is what I learned.
I verified the problem at Moneybookers today. I ended up calling their service department and found out that they (Moneybookers) no longer accepts payments from any type of gaming sites. That is in the United States moneybookers won't allow use of their services. So, if I would ever attempt to collect payments from the pokersites I play on I guess I can't.
I'm really frustrated with what the U.S. has done to the electronic gaming industry. This country wants to ensure they can collect their share of everyones money no matter what. THey take taxes out of our weekly pay checks, then everything we buy with what's left of our pay check they tax more, yet they can't run our country like a profitable business. They (U.S. Gov.) continue to bury the country in debt while government officials turn into wealthy freeloaders on the American workers tax dollars. It's a joke!
Sorry! I know no one cares to read about my personal feelings toward our mighty GOV. Good Luck to All!

After being gone for a few months you were welcomed back with open arms, so I don't think that is true Greenie. In fact what happened in the US last year was not good for online poker so it affects a lot of people outside of US too. The best thing is contact the sites that accept US players and find out how to get money into your account. What site do you play at Greenie? If they have player to player transfers you could have BRM transfer the points to me, I'll get them into my MB account, into my account at the site and then tranfer. Let me know.
BTW, I'll be busy for the next few hours so if you respond I probably will not be able to answer until late today or tomorrow. GL

Its not only for gaming sites that issue with moneybookers. Last year an American tried to make a cash transfer to my MB account with no success. He was keep getting the message that he is not allowed to, so we ended up to Western Union which both had used before.
What is even worse like mahdrof said they are influencing the rest of the world with their nonsense. I m also frustrated at what they do cause of it and i dont see them stoping until they get majority of the cake involved. Greedy f...s.

Hey man, you're preaching to the choir. The US government is greedy, corrupt and exists solely for the purpose of screwing it's citizens. They tax the crap out of people, and then can't even be arsed to provide the bare essentials, such as free, equal healthcare for everyone. They will do everything in their power to make sure everyone is taxed as much as possible, in every way possible. Classic case of the rich stealing from the poor.
Until people wake up and realise what's going on, it won't change.

mahdrof, thanks for the reply. I'm sure I don't know exactly how it's affected others and as I can see by the replies it's not just here, but after finding out that moneybookers won't support electronic gaming I got frustrated.
Anyway! I play at a place BRM supports so I think I can let you know I'm currently playing at Carbon poker. I have no problem depositing funds to their site, but wondering how I will be able to cashout. Actually this isn't that big of a worry since I play the micros for the biggest part just because I love playing poker. I just feel like someone's intervening in my private life (meaning U.S. Gov.) when I can't do what I want with my money.
As for cashing Mobpoints, I know it's not a lot of money, but what BRM does for us with points is really great so I thought I'd try cashing some in. If BRM will allow it I would work out something with you. Thanks! I'll split the 5000 points if we can work something out.

Those illegal drones aint cheap. death to the empire!
When the us govey does find a way to extort money from the pokersites ill likely stop playing. Id rather give it to gypsies then have my money go to terrorists.
The govey there is too large and the career politicians seem to be the only ones in the country allowed to keep their pensions while everyother employer circumvents benefits and pensions by becoming bankrupt.
The simple fact is 2012 is gonna be one hell of a year no matter what mark my words. People are fed up.

Oh, there's already mass awareness spreading around north america. Occupy movements are spreading like wildfire, and there's more and more blogs/videos etc being posted every day. As well, a hacker group going by the handle "anonymous" has been conducting hacks against major government sites, opening peoples eyes to the lies.
Our current government system is a joke, it's set up by rich people, to protect themselves and their friends, all while preying on the poor.

Okay Green, I created an account at Carbon. I'm not looking to take a slice of your points, so just have BRM send them over and I'll get the money to you through player transfer on Carbon. Always glad to help out a regular forum member. BTW MoneyBookers might take a slice so it might not work out to $50 on the nose.

you can withdraw via check from carbon u might need to make a small deposit using a prepaid visa card and also ask their support for any play-through requirements that might be on player transfers

mahdrof; I really appreciate you doing this, but I would like you to take 50% of the cashin. There is one issue I see at Carbon and that is player to player transfers are not an accessible term prior to contacting support so I sent Carbon Support an e-mail today. I won't be back on BRM until later today, probably 4 hrs. from now. I will check my e-mail to see if they replied. Again thanks and the split is no big deal. I currently have $$ on my account so let's see what they do!

Thank you Green, that is very generous of you. I will not be on BRM for a few hours as well. One of our subcontractors screwed up big time at one of our top customers, and the meeting starts in an hour. I'll need a stiff drink at the end of the day.

I thought this restriction are only against FullTilt players around the world last year. But what happened with the money from all us players? Or catched the DOJ all bucks from us players?
