I've noticed, over the last couple weeks, that sometimes I am not getting points for my posts. I'm 100% certain that I'm meeting the length requirements, as I make it a point not to post useless/spammy "meme" type crap, unless it's in off topic. My posts are usually long winded, because I like to talk a lot lol.
Just wondering if there's a possible glitch in the system, or perhaps the requirements changed. Never had this problem up until now, has anyone else been experiencing this?

Just post because you like to do it and don't care about points, they are an extra reward; so when, from time to time, you will check your points balance you will be pleasantly surprised

From what I understand the requirements are not public. That is, noone should know how long a post is supposed to be to render points. Which is a good system IMO.
So if the administration informed us that the requriements have changed, that wouldn't really tell us very much, since noone is supposed to know what they are.
Off course, one could make posts with 100, then 101, 102 and so on, until the points kick in, thereby getting the information, and then sell it expensive on Ebay. But I don't know...
Edit: I made a cashout the other day, so I think I had only 5 points before this post. Now I have 10. A small piece of information for the curious.

There's no glitch. Just not every post pays points, don't think so much about it, make a deposit somewhere instead - like use any of our gift offers, that's _5000_ MobPoints right there, instead of those silly few points from forum posts

Posted by Mysik86: From my calculations is that ~50-60 days of writing in forum should earn 5000 MP = $50
From my calculations, it's about half of that. So one will have to waste a lot of time for very little, plus if someone makes a cashout who has most of the points earned from forum posting, then we will reject the cashout until some points has been made in another way - the forum posting points are not meant to be the primary way to make money, it's meant as a small reward to our active members.

Yes. There is limit - 5 posts in Poker Section (10 points each) and 5 posts in OffTopic section (5 points each). And I include it in my calculation - 5x10p + 5x5p = 75p each day. 5000/75 = 66,666... so about 2 months

Do you invent it after my post? You must confess
Im pretty sure its just economics. I dont even want to know how things work but if they have to reject so they can ensure other promotions then who can blame em.

I would have to agree with you on this one magatt966. I get so carried away in the forum That I don't realize the points half the time. Kinda like it that way because all of a sudden when you do check your personals you wonder how you even built up so many points having conversation, arguements or just reading and putting your two cents in.
Anyway sorry about replying without support to this thread, but I'm sure BRM isn't shorting anyone of their points. Good Luck to All!
I do agree that retro has provided some good poker advice to myself and the forum in general so not being neg on the post.
