The best way to cool down after a suckout is a little break. For a better mindset, it is good to read some articles in any poker forums. And multitabling is a good way to forget little sucks verry fast.

If you cant handle the tilt and it happens often consider yourself taking a long break. Eventually it will cost you much more if you continue playing under tilt

Got to learn to take the good with the bad! Playing poker is to be fun also, not just to win although that would be nice. If you get frustrated it engauges over anxious motives which leads to bad decisions. Then the vicious cycle kicks in and your on a losing trend. Just quite as soon as you feel the tilt coming, of course if it's mid game you have to finish so sit out a hand or 3. Good Luck at self preservation!

If I'm on tilt, I usually immediately end my session, and do something else. Once in a while I find it's really fun to sit at a bunch of play chip tables and just play like a complete donk, shoving every single hand, trolling the room and playing like a complete idiot.
It's kind of liberating, and it's SUPER fun when you shove with 72o and get 6 callers and suck out Especially when they start getting mad and beaking you in chat

The most important part of dealing with Tilt, is learning to recogniz your threshold, and to have the discipline to stop playing when it's negatively affecting your game. No one, not even Phil Ivey, is immune to tilt, and playing while tilted can and does have an adverse effect on your game, causing you to play bad and lose lot's of money. And no one wants to lose money. It's easier to just take a break and come back when you know you can bust heads at the tables

Hi Maiju1974.
Your problem is not (only) tilt, i think. You lose your bank in a MTT? You need a good Bankroll management. After this you can think about your tilt problems.

i am not sure poker is possible without going on tilt (literally of course since there is no full tilt now). probably the closest thing you can get to playing without tilt is when you play with the stakes that are below what you could be playing comfortably- i.e. you can easily afford playing $1-2 table, but you opt for $0.01-0.02 one- i doubt you would go on tilt very easily there

15 mins away and having a cupper tea or coffee does wonders, many times I should have walked away for 15 mins knowing I would still have around 100 BBs instead I foolishly used to go all in with any A rag, lucky I am now able to just wait for an AK or AA KK QQ to get my stack back up and continue. Good luck to you.

I play mostly cash, and this morning I avoided tilt by the narrowest of margins by realizing the typical pattern leading to tilt (for me anyways) was there:
1. a bit tired 2. a bit stressed 3. a little unfocused 4. a nasty bad beat
So this morning I shut down my tables, and instead of moving up in blinds like usual on tilty days, I thought about how little I was actually down (which was less then yesterday's gains), realized I could easily lose my gains of the past two weeks, and shut down the computer. Tonight if I feel better I wll open up a few tables and grind it back, or if still tilty play some micro SNG for fun.
