Some days ago I withdrew €600 from a pokerroom trough a prepaid card and today I noticed with great pleasure there are two twin lines on movements report: they credited me two times € 600 . It happened two days ago. I don't know for sure if the mistake is by the pokerroom or the card society: I guess the poker room did it. Now....I still have around €700 on that room and around €2000 on the card. What would you do in my situation?

say nothing and pray they dont notice.....yea it could be classed as theft but hey we live in a society where the big whigs/corporations/businesses/governments rob us......so for once let the little guy rob a piece of the pie

I would contact the poker site in question and inform them about the issue. Sooner or later they will most probably find out anyway and then you will have some trouble if you can't pay back. Who knows, maybe they will give you a goodwill bonus if you let them know about the issue.

Personally, for me - it would depend largely on my financial situation. If I was really hard up for cash (late for rent for example) - I would probably take my chances and keep the money.. If however, it wasn't such a significant windfall, then I'd probably alert the poker room.
Now - the bad-ass route is definitely to deposit €600 back on the site, and withdraw it again and see if you can double up some more.

Probably they'll notice the mistake and take it back in a few days ( happened to me once and that's how they acted. i pretended i didn't saw it and they pretended they never did it ). My advice is wait a few days and if nothing changes, well, u never saw it right?

Maybe I'm just an overgrown boy scout but I would alert them to the error. Somebody screwed up and it will be found out, and even if you get to keep the money someone will pay the price for your good fortune - and I guarantee you it won't be the pokersite.

This, but do it even badasser: Sell your house/apartment + car + borrow from everybody you know, deposit, and withdraw! Then fly to Vegas, put evenything on red, deposit, withdraw, buy Cuba as a vacationhome. Invite all mobsters. Done.

The problem you will have is if (when!) they realise and you still have €700 on the site you will find yourself with only €100. They won't bother to ask for it back if you have enough in your account to cover it.

I agree with this totally. One way or the other they'll get their money back as sure as the sun rises in the morning. How this all shakes out is solely dependant on you. What if the reverse occured and they pulled a double deposit from your card...hmmm. I know what I'd do. One can't not know so that is a feeble defence. I sincerely believe here that honesty is the best policy.

Hi magat966.
If is problem of your card entity in a few time they will recover his money. If is problem of the poker room, contact to support. Better this than be under investigation when they find the mistake.
