At first view, looks like you have played well. The only thing you have to analyze in this situation is if you made an idea of what way was the winner of the hand playing before this hand. I mean, you say you were playing a pretty tight game, what about him? You also inform us the tourney was in the middle, with 2300 out from a 4800 starting field. But blinds are still very low, so that means you weren’t playing for that long, half an hour, maybe less? If this is the case, you should have remembered there are higher hands than KK. Playing MTT’s requires concentration. One can’t say “KK play like this, AA play like that, AK play this way…” that always depends in the type of game, the way the game is going. I am sorry to put you a bit downer than you already were because of losing, but if you wanted to win you had to knew he could have an A in the hand and that the table could bring him another A. So, in conclusion, perhaps you didn’t played that well.

sorry fakiry but have to disagree with your statement.

you say "remember there are higher hands than KK" --- there is only one hand higher which is AA

secondly i was playing a tight game i folded all sorts of good starting hands like AJ AQ and all pairs lower than 10s.

also i explained that the guy was a fish he played any 2 cards.so i had in my mind analyzed his starting hand.this i suppose was one of the reasons i 6xBB so as to keep out any rag A from him and SB, BB..no i guess all the donks can eventually have a good starting hand at some stage.pity i just run into it.

ps. i wasnt on a downer just asking the mobsters there opinion, i dont get on downers unless it is really bad play being made against me.on this occassion his play wasnt bad at that stage but it had been previously during the game
