what is the best way to make points (like party poker points, chilli poker points, celeb poker points, etc.) once you receive your free money from bankroll mob? playing multiple SNG's at once? playing multiple cash games at once? or several tournis? What's the best strategy to earn these points and then get your next stage of money released to your account?

generally cash game players make more points compared to sng players but dont change your game just for points. play where you win more or are comfortable with, $ are definitely worth more than those points

Yeah dollars are definitely worth more than points. So don't play something you're not good at in order to get them. That said, SuperNoob, are cash games always usually more or does it vary depending on how rake is calculated? Me I like DoN's because they're easy to multi-table.

of course it depends on what are your strengths as a player, but generally cash games offer biggest rewards (in terms of loyalty), if you like sng, then go for turbo, or hyper turbo ones, you will play more of them in same time, so you will get more points. one more thing on cash games- try a go at split pot games- like omaha ji/lo, stud hi/lo- they have bigger pots

At the iPoker Rooms you must pay 20% Fee at the micro levels so you can clear a bonus verry fast with multitabling. If you want play Cashgame is Omaha or 7card Stud Hi/Low a good alternative.

I'm not sure if I agree with the strategy of playin micro stakes in order to earn points faster. It obviously works no doubt but if you pay higher rake then that means you make less money, and obviously the money is more valuable than the points. So if you can avoid it, I would.

That always depends on the game one is best at. If a player prefers SnG instead of ring, he will not feel confortable playing ring just for points, and he has the risk of playing it too tight, which means he will have lots of difficulties to generate a big amount of points there, he will only do it when he enters big pots showdowns. In my case, I prefer to play cash when the objective is to generate points. I sit for 2 or 3 hours and, although many times I end up with the same money I entered, I have sure generated more points and lost less money than if I had entered several SnG.

That differs from site to site but in general the best way to earn them is the ring games. If you just play in order to win points you will be in the minus $ very fast.
If though you are good at sng's and you are in the plus side by playing them then thats the fastest way to win points and clear a bonus too. Having in mind of course that you play in low limits
for an ipoker skin i would recommend to join loose plo shorthanded cash games (but you have to be ultratight) but things will change in march when ipoker switches from average contributed to the weighted contributed rake system

Rake in micros is almost always a robbery.
I still have the dream of seeing a room that does not charge rake, when we only pay a mensual/anual fee.
Without question, micro rake is abosolutey terrible. I see why as they make less for hosting the same amount of traffic and what not. I wonder if a site would fair if they combined ideas and charged rake upto a fixed amount each month, possibly depending on VIP teir.
