some thoughts cause im uber bored  0
Well since starting my blog ive noticed my game and self-discipline improving quite a bit and im not letting the fact that im not making the progess i had hoped for yet get me down. just wanted to thank the support here from my fellow mobsters and i enjoy playing with you guys (esspecially micro and arthur great lads)

Ive seen just about everything you can see at a poker table (including a full on fist fight at the casino nova scotia lmfao) and although i still get pissed sometimes and as do most go on tilt from time to time, i am overall satisfied with how ive been playing.

Good luck to you all and who knows perhaps we will all meet at the wsop one day!

side note: id like to read the book that is advising all these players that shoving pre flop like its a limp is a good idea lmfao

Hi pokershark74!

Poker is hard. Several times poker does not treat us with justice. Is a fact. All we can do is continue in the fight. This is my wish for you, continue fighting, you will see the profit sooner or later.

Good luck at the tables.

it was quite a while ago but all i really remember is apparently these two regulars at the 1 2 tables really hated each other and one was trash talking the other about a hand one thing led to another a couple punches were thrown before the floor manager for the poker room got involved and split it up quite quickly... pretty sure both players got a ban i know i didnt see either of them again

Pre-flopping is all part of the game also, it can be good sometimes to chase off the donkeys and sometimes it is isn't all in all I would rather one on one then 4 callers on flop then being beat by some dork that has 2-7 suited lol Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile Worship Worship Worship Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Dollar Dollar Dollar

Reading your post about the guys fought over the game, i bet there are more incidents like that in real life money tables.
The one thing though i have never heard so far and i really wonder about it is how come Tony G havent got his ass kicked so far Smile

Keep the faith Pokershark. So long as you keep grinding those freerolls you're only getting better. I really suggest you just grind the plo game along with the freerolls as much as humanly possible until you get around 50$. Who knows a deep run in the tri or the 200$ freerolls alone could give you that. But either way once you get to the 50$ you either have learned alot thru playing to achieve that goal along with having a bankroll that allows you to play how you want.

When i was still below 50$ i played so carefully and made it deep many times because i was playing super careful. Which was good but when i needed my hands to hold like AA vs AQ or something where i can most times expect the pot i would lose and it would crush me because i was so close to financial stability with my roll. The adverse affect this bad beat had on me would be not worth the risk. So trust me when i say bankrollmanagement is of the ut most importance.

Another thing i would recommend is once you get the roll going use it in small stakes sng's or mtt's. Its crucial to get those levels up because once you're level 3 you get mtt tickets you can use to get into mtt's where anything is a profit.

Also i never got the chance to say sorry for flopping that str8 flush and slow playing it against you. Smile. lol @ never seeing a better flop. Ive used that line once since u did against a AJ vs my AK and he flopped all diamonds for the nut. of course K came on flop.

I think I have already read your nick in some tables, and, If I remember it, that can only mean you were the one who put me off the tourney or the one who was giving me worst headaches to keep running there. Keep up the good work.

i am sorry but it must be the language barrier i am not quite understanding your post. but ill try to answer it anyways.

i said i am satisfied with my play because i have kinda gone back to basics and not to be frank "donking" hands and getting lucky or vice versa unlucky. im playing a very solid game and most times i dont cash is because of things out of my control.

------------
thank you all for posts (there is quite a few so not going to do individual thank yous lmfao) as for micro though will be quoting a few things you said in your post in my very quick instalment of my new and improved blog right now!!!!!

All the time you need to respect the golden rules in online poker: play in bankroll, make a good table selection if you are playing cash games and a lot of volume!

Stick to these rules and you'll be up in no time Blink

Mate i have just come back from a live poker league game, and was on a table with 3 donkeys, and I mean it was impossible to play. I was getting cold deck, I had 4-5 playable hands all told in 2:30hrs

AKo
AQs
AJo
88
89o (was in the big blind, limped around - Hand i went out in, to AA)

If your not getting the cards, you cant play against people like that.. just the way poker is, all you can do is brush yourself off and get right back onto the horse. Hope to see you at the felt on Hero soon Smile

Chartoule is right! Playing good is not always enough, but if you can put the % on your side most of the time, then you must be doing some things right Blink
