Played on Party Poker a $5000 depositors freeroll yesterday evening. Players: 10900 Made it to place 38 for $ 7,50 (not that much, but I was lucky about the place). Could have gone deeper, but I lost my stack with K,10c suited against A, 7 off. I hit 10 on flop and K on turn, but with 3 spades. The other guy had 7 spade and I guess you know what happened on river... Nevertheless I am glad that I made it this far.

Congrats on your winning. While the places getting paid and prize awarded, you will need to be on the final table to get a good amount from that tourney. But considering the 11k field players participating your place is a very good one. gl and better results in the future

That's still a hell of a game MIGO14! To make it to the top 40 with that many players is quite the accomplishment. It's not always how much money you earn, but how good you feel when you know you played well. It also promotes positive energy and self gratitude. Good Luck to All!

Thanks for all your nice comments. And indeed, at first I was angry when I went out against him and his lucky flush on the river. But after a few minutes I was pretty happy about the place I reached in this player field. Like Greenmohave said, it also gave me positive energy. (Nevertheless I would have loved it to go deeper and to make some decent winning, lol)

I also got a message for pokerstars yesterday about their depositors freeroll promotion they have right now.
Yeah Macubaas, I am already playing these freerolls. But be aware of the fact that these are rebuy tourneys (for 1 hour + 1 addon) Starting stack of 1200 chips only, 8 minutes blinds (when PS started these freerolls it was 1500 and 10 minutes blinds, lol) Yesterday evening the tourney had about 15000 entries and a lot of rebuys, so the pricepool was at $ 9.900,- in the end. If one gets lucky and can get deep in this, there is a decent amount to win.

Congrats MIGO14.
Is really difficult do a 38th place in a MTT with more than 10000 players. The last hand well played in my opinion. Lucky river for the other, nothing to say.

You did very well in this tourney. And I think I would have done the same in your position if I had that hand and that table at that point of the tourney and already in paid places. You don’t tell us, how long have you been playing this? I believe you were at least 3h30… got any close?

@ Fakiry: Yeah I had to go all in with this hand and chance of doubling up. I guess I was 29th at this time, so it was the chance to go much deeper in this tourney, but unluckily he hit his flush on the river. When I busted I played for about 5 hours and I guess the tourney went on for approx. another 1.5 hours.
