I'm sorry to say, but if you want some level headed play you may as well stay out of the freerolls. They are unpredictably crazy! You can place in them and win once in a great while, but it will never be on a regular basis no matter how good of a player you are due to there being to many people who don't care. Someone on tilt may call with a 2,4 and beat your AA down like nothing. It's free so a lot of players (if you call them that) call with anything. Good Luck to All Freerollers who are trying to play serious poker in them, but..........................

someones tilting. Freerolls=donkfests. 25 to 35 percent of people who play freerolls play totally maniacal so get used to it.

why doesnt BRM jus make it so only people who have linked their PS account 2 their account on this can join only if they use the password also

I'd love to know the number of these posts that pop up and also how many of them are by me lmfao. Big Smile Big Smile ....
Yes its frustrating, yes it blows major dck but eventually if you do attempt (as I do) to keep at it you will become numb to the redonkulousness of these freerolls... For example the last one I played I had ace king two all ins before I ship it (knowing I am not going to win cause I rarely ever do with ace king in the brm freeroll all in pre shove) flop comes king high, turns an ace making three hearts. River is the fourth heart and of course the luckbox of the table wins it with his jack of hearts.... Aww crap!
Don't get me wrong I get pissed, I curse them up and down (just to myself as I lost my chat for a month on stars because of bad mouthing) and very soon after I can just laugh about it. I mean if you can't win when your AK two pairs it does seem hopeless but really though your not out anything (sept perhaps your dry underwear from seeing that fourth heart rofl).
There is also quite a few chances in a day so its like most things its all a numbers game the more tournaments you play the greater your chance...
When I was a door to door salesman (well not sales really but getting kids sponsored for world vision) they use to call it the law of average i.e the more no's you get the greater your chance of some shmuck signning up... or every no gets you closer to that yes.

Also as I was finishing this post up I had ace king of Club guy raised i am a little short on chips and ship it in donkfest style knowing the fcking argentinan whos been playing every hand would call and so would the raiser im in great shape preflop up against AQ Spade and the argentinan has K9os pretty much a golden two hands to be up against and bam three spades on flop. i generally hate having two people dominated always just assume its over then if i see that.

Hi guys!!

Don´t get tilted by freerolls kostat!!! You can´t wait find high average players in this kind of MTTs the majority are players who either start or play for spend time. Some freerolls professionals too.

Well thtas the problem with these freerolls.
You need to be very lucky to go deep in them.
I already busted 3 times early in these with KK and AA by crazy guys who called with Q 6 and such crap.

The frustration you feel when busting out deep in the tourney vs. donk hands is why I adopted a certain freeroll strategy: In the first 15 minutes of play, any pocket pair 88 or better or AJ or better shove. If you double or triple up you have a stack that will allow you to go deep and make the time investment somewhat worth it, and if you bust out you didn't waste time trying to play well only to get donked out. I play mostly cash and consider donks to be my pals, even if they beat you in one big hand, you will win the other 9 out of 10 times and be ahead. But in a long tournament, hours in, one donk hand is all it takes to knock you out. Angry

When its a freeroll and one that the password is easy to access in such sites like
Poker Starts, Party Poker etc then you will have thousands playing it. Smile
Just relax and accept it Smile

Unfortunately until freerolls will be tracked and not just password protected things like that will continue to happen...

My advice would be to get an no deposit offer from bankrollmob Blink

It very hard to win in the BRM freerolls now a days. I can't even make it to the first break. usually out with in 25-30 mins. Plus the payout is lower so hard to get to. Best of luck to every MEMBER in the tournies Smile.

Good idea !!! We cann't hope all player play well in freeroll. Just train your instinct when play there, don't hope so much ( get prize ). Just frustrating for nothing Sad

I loose all the time to ridiculous hands in the brm fr, I used to it now. Even in $1-$4 tournaments people tend to call or raise you all-in with the crappiest of hands, it's because of there bankroll, they have so much money they don't care for the buy-in and so they just go nuts the whole time

I doubt that this situation is caused mainly by password thieves. I see this behavior in every freeroll, also those accessible to all members of the pokersite.

Some simply will go all in the first few hands to try and double up a few times, because that is enough to finish in the money. I imagine they are at work, or are just about to go to sleep (or both Smile), and don't have time to play, and can still earn a few cents... In late night games you see a lot of big stacks, that fold every hand (they've gone off to bed).

The first few hands you should not raise too much, since it's likely to end up in an all-in situation with more than 2 players pre flop. If there are more than 2 players your AA or KK hands are not merely as valuable as when you've isolated one other player...

Don't join the all-in frenzy if your out of position, or you'll end up with 3 or more players all-in; only call an all-in with prime hands, if you are the last one to call (i.e. the all-in better is next to you on the left, and no one else called), so you know its just you and him.

It is best to avoid these all-ins at the start altogether, even though this means you will be playing against a lot of big stacks; you can make up for it later on, by outplaying them. There's plenty of time since the blinds are still low.

The all-in frenzy is just the start of the freeroll, after a while it stops, because the idiots that doubled up a few times, just as quickly, lost it all again. Also when some time has passed, people are more invested in trying to do well...

Oh, and, if you can't beat them, join them... (but you should be able to beat them)

There are idiots marqis that they play that way till they lose the chips.
They dont just try to have a big stack at the beginning of the game in order to
have the "control" of the table with big bets and raises.
They try to go like that in the final table. Most times they fail though
