Good evening lady's and gent's
I have decided that my original blog has been filled with too many freerolls. plain and simple the idea is fresh start here, fresh start in my mind.
GOALS: IN ORDER 1) To seriously work hard on keeping my temper down when I get beat and not to tilt as much. 2) Planning on a deposit on pokerstars at the end of the week so naturally to better manage my bankroll. 3) Also bankroll management lol as it is my biggest problem in poker. 4) By the end of Feb. to play in the Sunday million 5) As my play has improved quite a bit in the last couple weeks I'd like to maintain this higher standard more fundamental style of play. 6) 4-digit cash by end of march.
I have to wait until end of week for my check so there will be a few freeroll posts between then and now and poker gods be willing ( ) a few nice cashes and maybe some interesting hands to post about.

The docket tonight is the 1am est BRM, the 12am est 200 (hero) and much later in the night both the country restricted freerolls.
A couple things to mention: Was considering calling it 24hr poker blog 2.0 but that is way overdone and who doesnt like a little mary jane shout out also id like to thank all the support i have received on the old blog from my fellow mobsters and i hope you continue to follow me all the way to the nosebleeds!!!!

Off to a good start in the 200 pretty much playing at a table heads up with a donkey and slowly and surely I am chipping away his stack with alot of pretty decent hands holding up... For example I turned and rivered three fives to make my boat with pocket threes checked till turn he bets... call river bet... I call I win. also hit quads with a crap duece in bb and a straight when i flopped open ended with pocket fours up to 2313 hes sitting at 1412 sitting 402 out of 3582. also any hand he folds and I have basically or actual nuts I show him the hand and hes still raising ever pot.
minor set back: played 2 3 suited floped pair turned two. River made his straight as he had open ended on flop hes ahead for now but only time will tell just how lucky this bingo player is.
unfortunately its been alot of up and down hes been getting lucky. I also got owned by the other dude for quite a few chips back to the drawing board... I just cant win against bingo players as I consider myself not one with alot of luck on ones side. Last hand of the 200 (sadly) K-10 clubs flop top pair he has ze spades flush draw and the spade hits right away end of that story better luck in the pso/country restricted tourneys I hope.
SOME REFLECTIONS: On the good side I did keep my composure and even managed to say good game with a wee snide remark to the other players wishing them luck playing the bingo player. some bad points I played a little too loose at points simply because of the weird situation of being short handed at a table of sit outs. also played a little scared which never bodes well and could have probably knocked him out early on in the tournament. note I only played scared as I am so used to the bad beats and general silliness of freerolls. also the 200 is crazy hard to cash in only like top 24 get money and though I have made it close before I am yet to cash in it.
Time to hit up the PLO tables and grind the pso till my 99 and tri 100. good luck out there guys will only be posting back tonight if i do well.

If you ever need chips in a freeroll shark? i usually just overbet a high ace and they cant help but call along. then u shake em on the flop with a pot sized bet. Most freerollers are scared. The ones who arent dont care and finding out who is who can be very lucrative.
One time just tell yourself to pot bet every ace you get and youd be amazed how often you get away with it. Its also good to vary ur style in freerolls to let you try and encounter different situations.
The blog looks sleek and i applaud ur goals. Id add that goal 4 flies in the face of goal 6 and if you wish to stick to goal 3 then you would need over 2k for goal 4. Maybe switch goal 4 and 6 in terms of date and maybe you can achieve everyone of them?

currently playing in the BRM and PSO determined to play some of the best poker of my life after a few ups and downs in BRM (which is what im focusing on for this post) i find myself here:
I'm utg (also doing well in pso) I get A 3 get to limp. Flop is gorgeous 9 A 10 I end up calling a guys pretty well min raise all in (me:raise 300...allin 625) hes holding the 6 7 . turns another nine and the river is a sick little bich of an eight... yes he rivers a straight flush to beat me. not a big enough lose to really care to much still doing fine. SOME STATS as of about 40 mins into the tournament: blind level is 200/400 ante 50, my stack is 2700 so I'm sitting 529 out of 670 (not great but I have breathing room) starting players 4286 and avr stack is 11k and change.
few interesting hands and a little why later utg again this time with queens doube threw an ace 9. shortly after break i get min raise while in bb(1k) and have threes normally would call this but decided to fold unfortunately the three came on the flop and held. important thing is i still have chips and a chance!!!!
hour fifteen in im am so close to out only 2200 with blinds 1600 really wishing i had called those threes cause as i type this sentence the guy before me ships it for not much more then me i have K J have no choice but to call. two people and me in the hand ofcourse i am way infront preflop (which i hate cause thats when this s**t happens) buddy who SHOVED like utg+1 has K 8 two of his diamonds come on the flop the third is on the turn and i am out in 187th.

A few reflections: the pot odds were definately right to call those threes and i let myself talk myself out of that gorgeous much needed tripple up.
also never let a bad beat get you down i take them probably more then any other player on the planet and for years have biched whinned punched stuff (only to hurt my hand) ive even maybe not sure but maybe3 cried once.... all this behavoir is counter-productive i.e its a big like just now after lossing a huge amount of chips partially cause of being upset about the brm and mostly becaise i had K J got in to the flop cheap and got a flush draw ( I really hate flopping a flush draw no joke i hit them maybe 1 time out of 100) so im sitting with like 1600 in pso get jack utg+1 autoship and just minimize (at this point really dont give two s**ts) i didnt even look at what beat me from what i glimpsed looked like two unders. but yes the point im drawing out is that if you cant laugh at yourself and your misfortunes who in the heck can you laugh at right!
it seems i am not done with my lose streak just quite yet but never fear i will keep up the good fight i will deposit friday and gosh darn it! i will complete my goals!!!!!

al-right decided not to quote a whole bunch and just hammer it out quick. for one thank you for the apology though it was not needed after all as they say "there are no friends at the poker table" and I do believe in certain situations playing the friend like hes a no one to you is key.
basically my plan as of now is to give up on getting in top 30 of the leaderboard i would say with my cashes earlier in the month i am safely in top 200 so thats fine for that. ill just wait for my deposit to play stars for a bit.
what i am going to do though is pretty much exactly what you suggested hammer the plo freerolls as well as the others over the week and see where that gets me.

Good luck matey, I too need to be playing more to accomplish my goals, and defiantly need to be playing the plo on hero more. Only played 2 and FT'd in both cashing in 1 lol. By folding every hand

so after taking a good 24 hour break from the online grind i started off with a couple plos not playing my best at them by far and going out of both. conviently the $200 freeroll pops up shortly after and im off!!!
some interesting stats: out of first 9 hands i won 7 of them. not much at all very passive tight first table. another is for the most part i am playing short handed as there is a lot of sit outs also some normal stats: 2345 (small for this tournament) starting now about 50 mins in its down to 319 and im sitting in 135th with 6200 chips and blinds at level 8.
my mid game goal is to play what i like to call HELLA-TIGHT. as i have goofed and got lucky a few times as well as made some bad judgement calls so far. i pick up an A J UTG+1 and the guy before me as shoved for not too too much. I re-shove to try and isolate cause as i suspect he is holding a small pair and wouldnt mind a cheap coin flip.
I flop an ace and a flush draw knocking him to 4% and for once my monster flop holds up for me as i river the flush (not that it changed the results lmfao).106 out of 269 with 7700.
I feel confident enough that i am going to cash so i have decided to post this and then just update.
------------ well i could easily still be playing right now however i chose to take a risk with one of my fav kind of starting hands a suited connector. lost pretty near all my stack.
managed to double twice but was then knocked out on the third attempt not an exciting hand at all and i was behind preflop. only thing that bothered me was it was the luckbox bingo player who had shoved all in for about five hands before i decided to take a try with the king nine of spades.
to those of you reading thank you for supporting the blog just a reminder i will be depositing on stars probably tomorow or next day. so more exciting games to come as well as i hope to start video tapping some tournaments. (using the recording program suggested in micros blog) and will post some of those vids aswell. wont be doing commentary as of yet simply because of me playing in a coffee shop but who knows perhaps ill stop being cheap and get internet in my apt. and then we will get some going and you can all laugh at my recorded voice as i find anytime ive heard myself recorded i did not enjoy who i sounded rofl

Alright boys and gals! I haven'nt been playing much over the last two days trying to take a bit of a break. tonight will be fun and enjoyable for me to go on a nice long stretch and I hope profitable aswell.
going to be playing the BRM on stars in about a half hour along with the tri 100 on hero. hope to finally take down first in both as i have only got as high as second in brm and never took one of the cash spots (top 3) in the tri.
my goal is to play tight as usual but also to over bet my monsters and try not to make hero calls that aren't a sure thing.
will post back a little later with some results....
side note: noticing that there are about 450 people already registered for the brm i plan on doing a bit of donk hunting and owning so foreign bastards!!!!

so not doing to well in most of the tournaments ive played tonight. i figured i might as well post and let ya know i got another round of tournaments to go a couple in 20 mins and the other brm at 5 am est.
will hopefully do better in this brm as the last one had an all in bingo player at the table. and finally pick up ace ace he naturally shoves all in and preceeds to river a straight usuing his 3 from his queen three offsuit.
nothing i can do about losing with way way way best starting hand. hoping for better results to post about later on. as always see ya at the felt.

First post in a while. took a nice break before depositing on to stars. so far havent done to much couple small tourney buy ins lost... dabbled in the cash games (though i know i should stay away lmfao) was up and down in those.
As of right now i am slighty down from my original buy in but after the excitement of having a nice size bankroll to fool around with had died down i settled down to play a 2.50 180 man NLHE tournament. after hitting a pair of aces on the flop with my A K against buddies A 10 i was off to a good start sitting now about 15 mins in to the tourney and not having played much since first hand in 14th out of 163.

this was just a donkservation.... guy raises 3X in bb guy couple spots away ships it for not much like maybe 3X his raise. My gut told me to go for the double knock out with my A-10 offsuit so i ship enough to get both players all in. hit a set of tens on the flop so ive secured beating the bigger stack... unfortunately the small stack had shipped it with ten duece and ofcourse i duece comes on the turn. i barely felt it as i won a small side pot but still to ship your whole stack in a 2.50 buy in with ten duece even suited is wild... quite glad i got moved to a new table far far away from that luck box.
------------ update: made an epicly bad and incredibly lucky all in with pocket eights lmfao. end up a guy right beside me re-shoves with pocket aces for just a wee bit more then me. we heads up he flops a set of aces with two spades... thinking i have to be done and out another spade comes... i look i and i alone hold a spade.... theres hope and for once i get to four card flush someones aces away.
doubled to about 3k, blinds at 150/300 with a 25 ante. I'm about 40 mins into the tournament now and sitting 33rd out of 51. getting there slowly but surely
------------ sad updatde: not out but was definately injured when two 3k all ins went in before me and i couldnt bring myself to fold my KING KING.... sadly one of those 3k all ins was the monster ACE ACE.

You do the right not folding KK. 3k with that blind amounts, they can be pushing trash like Ax Kx and all the pairs. One of them had AA, bad luck but well called.

have not been playing alot lately didnt do well with my deposit sadly though i am still glad i did it cause i got the 1k freerolls though those are proofing tough to get far in.
at 9 i will be playing one of the 1ks as well as the brm freeroll. and the tri 100 on hero. hopefully have some interesting stuff to post about later on for now peace out my mobster hommies!!!!

well tonight is going as most nights go.... ten mins in to 1k freeroll get knocked out with pocket queens donk got a four card straight on river with his king nine off.... ten mins after that i was out of brm also with pocket queens beleive it or not lmfao. this time guy 3 bet shoves with jack nine of clubs.. rivers a flush. better luck later on i guess lmfao if you cant win with queens against two unders there is just not much you can do about it.

I feel ur pain brother. I mean about the freerolls. Ice asked me a couple questions in my blog that you may be able to use to help you? i know u are set on shipping first in those leaderboards but dont stop playing those free games if you can. Have you uploaded id to hero and then tried to enter the apple games that are free? i havent deposited and can play them so maybe its because i uploaded id?

Well not playing to much poker over the last week or so trying to just focus on thinking about my game among other things I've sat down to play a nice long and as always hopefully profitable session! PRAISE BE TO THE MIGHTY POKER GODS
On the ID thing I get how to put the pic on the site unfortunately what I do not get is how to get the pic from my phone to the computer rofl
TONIGHTS ROSTER: BRM's from now (9pm) till tomorow morning at 5am. plus probably the pso's. also on the poker stars roster is the two 1k freerolls between now and that time. hoping to do better in those by playing a much tighter and larger bet game.
for Hero will be playing large amount of the $5 PLO's aswell as both TRI $100's between now and five as well as a $99 and $200. oh yes trying for the 25k bankroll booster ticket aswell in that freeroll.
need to do some catching up on the forum and others who post these wonderful blogs.... also planning to download that software for taping games of micros blog.

------------ well as per usual pokerstars is up to its tricks and general rediculousness. been knocked out of not just one but all three poker stars tourneys i had for 9pm. the most rediculous of them all being the infamous 1k freeroll. get pocket kings raise a nice chunk to let them know i mean business. get reraised by one and a call from someone else.
ME:KING KING RERAISE:QUEEN JACK of hearts CALLER:ACE QUEEN offsuit FLOP comes dead not much for anyone and looking so good i close my eyes. TURN i open just to see the turn come down as a king of hearts (second heart on board) RIVER is some jew lookin heart that made the worst hand as always win. story of my life.
will be posting more as i go i may have lost the battle but i have not lost the war!!!!!!!!
------------ well after my rough start i took a little break came back to more roughness mixed with a bit of fed upness lmfao.... ended up busting a few more freerolls some silly and some just plain sick but this forum is flooded with bad beat stories.
lessons for the night so far.... Don't fall off the deep end and stop playing to the level I myself know im capable off.
Don't gun for russian tools who are just ruining the game anyways jsut ignore those idiots.
