So i used freeroll funds to parlay into some real money winnings and decided i would withdraw 500$. I found i needed to upload Photo ID. I then had to sign and fill out a credit card verification form.... even though im not using a CC. It was no small feat with no printer, scanner or smart phone to help me.
Then as my gf already uses insta debit i figured i would transfer her the money so she can withdraw. I did and she tries but hero places a 4 day hold on transfers before they can use the funds???
This is where i get a bit upset. She then waits the 4 days and tries again and they say "electronic transfers arent allowed until you deposit"????? She sends off an email and they send a automated response with directions how to ddeposit?
They have no phone number nor a live support feature.
Im waiting for the reply now but from experience does anyone already know if ill have to make said deposit?

From past experience...of course depends on what site you are referring to but...Stars,fulltilt,Carbon didn't require me to deposit b4 withdraw my freeroll winnings over $100 after some sweet talking to support. A few years ago I parlayed my freeroll winning on Ultimate Bet (UB) into a couple grand and NO sweet talking would get me even half of it..so I went ahead and sent their minimum deposit required - $150 via Western Union so they received it immediately. Went home...called them up and told them now send my $1500 via Western Union and I'll pay their $50 fee. Them money was there in 2 hours.
Sometimes smooth chatting goes a long way with some sites :

Full tilt didn't have a phone number or live support, and they weren't a scam...oh wait a minute lol.
Actually in my past experience with Full Tilt, I wasn't allowed to withdraw until I deposited. Same with my girlfriends brother. I think it's stupid that they require it, especially when they just allow you withdraw it right out after, but I guess it's to discourage unsavory conduct such as money laundering and the sorts.

Most of the poker rooms have this politic; they won't send money to any account (e-wallet, CC, etc) not used previusly to make a deposit. I think it's for security reasons. You should open an account in Moneybrookers or Netteler, deposit some money in this account for make a deposit in your poker room and then request the withdraw to the same account you used. This is the standard procedure.

yeah, on the most sites you must make a deposit before you can withdraw anything. This is because off security reasons. So play players cannot make accounts on different names. So if you want to cashout make a small deposit and then withdraw your money. I think its quit normal to make first a deposit. So get a moneybookers account deposit and play and withdraw again to your moneybookers account.

Deposit before cashout is a classic in the sites. And be carefull with deposit with a CC that is not your CC, you can have troubles when you make cash out.

You probably will have to deposit in order to get the Money. What I can’t understand is how you manage to make the withdraw without that step already completed. I thought they would only accept the withdraw after you completed all the steps, depositing included. I had a similar experience, but without problems. I used the no deposit bonus from Yachting Poker and manage to win something nice to withdraw, but their Terms and Conditions referred the necessity of depositing before making any withdrawal. So, after reaching profits, I deposited and continued playing there for some more. Then I made the withdrawal with no problem at all and I still have some more money there to try to win some more (I am liking to play there)!

well i don't know all the pokerroom rules but last time i had a bonus treu bankrollmob $25 dollar i played a litle whit that money made about 50 partypoints whit it at partypoker till i run out off money on my account there and i was at my brothers place whit no wallet so he made a litle deposit off $25 dollars from his bank account and i was tired at that moment playing poker so i switched to the european roullette table and it came BIG into my screen window and i didn't see the button to make its smaller so i played whitout seeing my $25 dollar balance and i thought the 1 coins where cent coins but it where 1 dollar coins an i played about 20 minutes on the table whitout seeing my balance after a while i found the button to make the screen smaller and i found anamazing incredible surprise off $1250 dollars on my account i whas a litle in schock and found out at that moment that i played whit dollar coins and not whit cents but the conclusion is i made the whitdrawal to my own bank and it was there whitin 2 dayes no id quistions nothing i signed up at party poker treu bankrollmob and this is realy good service .

deposit the minimum required and after that try to withdraw. Anyway if this site doesn`t have any phone number or adress could be a pirate one, so even if u deposit some money they will tell that u have to do something else for withdraw...good luck to u

@MicroMachina this is pretty standard. Sites will usually only allow cash-outs to a method that you have used to make a deposit. No live support at Hero seems a bit poor but I did find this if you don't get anywhere with email support.

I completed all the steps and ive been waiting since this post for my withdrawal to stop pending and start sending but to no avail. After the deposit they said it took 4-5 days to process but its still not in my bank what 6-7 days later?
Oh, they must be upgrading over there because they seemingly have added some support options and the table reads heropoker.co.uk now instead of just .com
Honestly i am insulted i had to make a deposit, im insulted they have stalled each step and left me to find out after 1 step there are more steps but never a full disclosure.
Yesterday i dropped an email to them but they never even gave me a ticket this time. just went unanswered.
So if having to deposit is standard practice to withdraw fine. If it isnt STAY AWAY FROM HERO

Right, I have same experience. Even we can't withdraw via moneybookers if we weren't deposit via moneybookers. I deposit via entropay so can't withdraw via moneybookers, but I can withdraw via Bank Transfer, LOL (where 's security reason ?I don't understand )
Did you use CC for deposit ? I think moneybookers is very nice for deposit and withdraw . Hope get good news from you about this soon
