Blame the site?  0
It doesnt make any sense to me why people blame the site there playing on for the bad beat they incur.Bad beats happen we all know this yet there are still loads of people that blame the site there on,do they really think its the sites doing or are they just annoyed and if they do wrongly beleive it IS the site then why are they still playing on it.Just seems crazy to me.

one of my personal favourites to pop up in the chat box is

"typical set up hand, i only lose when i get dealt these set up hands i played it perfectly"

which is usually followed by

"F*CKIN STUPID RETARDED FGHFGHFGYZGXZXFH DONK...I'M GONNA RAPE UR MUM"

some people deal with bad beats well

Yes! And this has worked well for me whole my life. To quote Bart Simpson: "I didn't do it!"

Or an old classic swedish punkband: "Det var inte vi som gjorde det, det var de andra."

"We didn't do it, it was the others." (It never becomes clear who "the others" are, but they sure did do it.)

It seems crazy to me too. What would be the site's motivation for rigging it? No matter if you win or loose, they are raking in the dough anyway (pun intended).

Do they believe that the players that are winning are bots for the site or something?

If you wanna be paranoid about it, maybe they've devised an algorithm that schedules wins and losses just right, in order to maximize the addictive qualities of online poker...?

I gotta admit..I used to get angry sometimes. All of us have probably had some donk go all in with 2 5 against AA and lose, that used to get me so worked up and i'd be cussing all over the house for hours.Luckily i've changed my attitude over this. Now a days i just say and type:typical and leave it alone.
I never did blame BRM,A site or a worthy adversary,i mean.. let's say you got AA and the player has QK with 10 J 4 on the flop,i'd push with AA and if he'd win then well done but it wouldn't be 2 5 or some crap like that.

point is it's the player that calls or folds, not the site your playing at evn though sometimes you wonder about the outcome

I think supernoob si right, it's much more easier to blame others...

Still, i's true that sometimes you get ugly bad beats but again you need to remember that in poker you also need to have a bit of luck. If you respect the bankroll management, a bad beat won't affect you much.

At some point you need to blame someone.
Especially when you first start playing poker and you get your first big downhill.
Thats where all starts. Blaming, swearing.... Smile
But you learn to deal with it by time, i think Smile

One thing I've learned in the past year playing at only 3 to 4 sites on a regular basis is that there are days when you feel your getting all the bad beats especially when the fellow player is hitting on a 7,9 off suit.
There's just those days that you get the cards and days you don't so I'm a big believer that it's not the site your playing on it's just whether your hitting the flops or not.

It is crazy.

It takes a certain level of irrationality to arrive at this conclusion.

That's good after we lost. But for preparing before we play new game , better we prepare strategy how to reduce get bad beat, when we get it don't lose all of our chip. Do you ever think about it ?

Hi guys!!

Blame the site, the other players or something else don't not help and puts you closer to falling on tilt. Chat off and a smile for every badbeat.

Or break the Pc vs the walls...

in a way you are right, but hey if someone were blaming full tilt- and bammm, it's closed- weren't they right? imho these days there are too many uncertainty about online gaming in a whole...there are many rumors and no one can deny them 100%, so many people believe that if they lost this is not because they played bad (though many times this is the case) but because the site is rigged or opponents are linked in some way Confused

in a way you are right, but the problem is in the thought process and irrational reasoning.
many people make conclusions based on insufficient data and are unable to see beyond them.

and regarding fulltilt, its closed not because it's rigged but the owners stole money and put in their accounts. which no-one knew before they were caught

It takes time to accept bad beats, sometimes they are realy unbeliable and it worse when you get one after other. But then you start to accept them as a part of the game

I know what you are saying, but when there are doubts over the legitimacy of the whole thing and whether or not the deals are manipulated, I can't blame people for being suspicious after a big player like Fullt Tilt is exposed as operating its business in a very unprofessional way. Same thing for UB/AP with the superuser scandal a few years ago, and they also went belly up when the DOJ came knocking. I don't believe the deals are manipulated, however when there is some easy money to be made you know some people will be thinking of ways to scam. Just my opinion.
