Beating a world record is something crazy but very nice. If Guinness recognizes this record, this guy will be earning money till his record is beaten. I once read that Guinness World Record Book pays $1,200 per month to the record holders till someone beats it. Sure is a nice incentive to go after something we think we can do.

no sure if this is the case- you may be right, but i doubt it- if so then anyone would be after some stupid records, since it is not that hard to figure out doing something that hasn't been tried before, or something that wasn't tried to a very professional level at least- i imagine playing for 5 days is something boring at first, not to mention physically tough
Is he allowed to drink energy drinks, coffee and stuff to keep him awake? Some people don't sleep much in their daily lives. I bet this guy trained for it, or he wouldn't be attempting it. Playing poker live and staying awake must be much harder than behind a computer screen though, so good luck to him!

it something for not sleeping 5 days but if u are drinking coffee or energy drinks u can stay wake, but this isn`t the problem. Will be in GUINNESS BOOK, but how he will play 5 days in a ro without sleeping break, that is a problem.Because i think almost everybody can play 5 days in a row just with small breaks but who can play concetrate this time? For that i will put prize on it
