So i live in the Provincial Territory of Ontario. The Premier of said province needed to add some incentive to his platform for us commoners to vote for. He added a Provincial holiday. He won the election and now we have Family Day in Ontario on Feb 20th.
I believe two other provinces have this holiday but others may as well by a different name.

well thats one way of getting votes,give people a day off work..lol,never heard of this holiday but if it means one less day slaving away in work its got to be good...enjoy

My friend wants me to believe only the profitable provinces have them. Quebec, Ontario and Alberta being the first 3. I am glad B.C is getting it as well. Though my friend will assure me its just because B.C has become more profitable.
By that reasoning though Ontario may lose it by 2013. lol.
