Inspired by B1gfoot's hobby thread I was wondering what music people like.

Myself, I'm mostly into prog and psychedelia, but I also enjoy a bit of dance, electronica, folk and classical.

Favorites would be Hawkwind, Gong and Neil Young .

Always been a Neil Young fan along with everyone from Elvis, Beatles, Stones, Floyd, Zep, Aerosmith, Kiss, Elton John, damn there's not to much I don't like to be honest. I even like the 80's hair bands, some grunge, STP, Nickleback, AcDC, Matchbox 20. Right! I like it all Neil Diamond, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatura, Kat Stevens. Love banjos, Metallica, Megadeth and Disturbed. I won't go on, but I'm 48 years old and about the only musivc I don't like is Oprah, but I've attempted to understand it.

Yeah I can't get into opera either, and I have tried.

I forgot to mention my penchant for the 1930's-40's dance bands. Odd one I know.

In the final analysis though there is no bad music only music that is or isn't to your taste...except The Eagles of course. They just suck.

When I was younger I liked bubbling music, later I switched to House and Reggaeton music. Nowadays I like the golden oldies of the sixties and seventies.

My favourite music is the sound of poker chips being scooped from the pot into my stack. Evil

Depends on mood and occasion. I listen to a wide variation of music. The list of music that I don't like is shorter Blink I hate german "Schlager" & "Volksmusik", experimental jazz and all kinds of bad coverversions like "Under the Bridge" from All Saints or "You shook me all Night long" from Celine Dion & Anastacia Aww crap!

Greenmohave has a pretty good list, until Nickleback, I have a flow chart for them...

--------------------------------YES---->Kill yourself
Do you like Nickleback
--------------------------------NO----->Enjoy life

I'm into rock/metal, mainly proper bands who can thrash it out...but hey I like a little cheese too, not that sort zeroster and marbles...this sort....

AND

OMG flashbacks, I promis not to post anymore...but I got to share this classic...

"..a girl starts walkin', guys start gawkin'
sits down next to you and starts talkin'
says she wanna dance cuz she likes the groove
so come on fatso and just bust a move..."

lmao @ Bigfoot...nice one m8.
Business as Usual had to be one of the best albums to come out of the 80's. I never tire of listening to it still.
