New Sharkscope  +1
Saw a post about Sharkscope, and was thinking maybe many people dont know the new Sharkscope is on. Couple of more features ect.
In the new version you can also see your scope excluding rake, so wot wud be your scope if you paid 0% rake, very shocking to be honest Shock

Go see it: http://beta.s************m/

you shouldn't know anything cause sharlscope doesn't track cash game but only MTTs and SNGs.

BTW at high stake tables it's likely rake reach the cap (the maximum amount of money payable for a single hand) at every hand so imho they pay in percentage less rake than lower limits.

Imo tha maximum % of rake is paid at micros - medium level: NL2 to NL50

@ Doomdy: didn't know about it, ty Worship

Thanks Doomdy - didn't know about this either, I had a quick look, but I couldn't find the rake thing.. I'll check it out again later when I have some time..

I've done estimates on the rake before - it's not too hard - if you take the total number of games you've played and multiply that by the average stake of each game, then multiply that by whatever rake the site charges (so 0.1 for 10%) then you'll get a pretty good idea of the rake you've played.

My Sharkcope for SNG is in the red, but I know for sure, without rake - I would be in the black - 100%. I would be interested to see the exact figure. Will have to have a better look, do you need to be a member for this feature?

Its easy, for example domdy - PKR.
1. Player statistics.
2. Name=domdy, Network=PKR, All games (same as you did old).
3. Then you see graph scope (same as old sharkscope).
4. Then bottom graph scope you see (legend) red line is Profit (incl rake).
5. Next to legend (left) you see Profit Excl Rake, you can click on that.
6. Then pop up blue line, voila Agree

So shocking Evil

WTF? Shock

Did just as you said and I'm shocked as well.
That's HALF man!
I had no idea the rake numbers were that huge. Horrible really...

The new sharkscope looks nice though.
I had my major stats blocked (because i use it in tournaments against others sometimes Smile ),
so i can't see my numbers, and maybe it's better that way. Confused

I hope we still have 5 free searches a day?
Thanks for the info doomdy. Blink

Yes its shocking Evil
Thats why i allways refused to play with less then 50% deal.
So its deffo not half but 1 fourth, even better cos in my grind-days i had something close too 80% at PKR (rakeback, reload, points, leadeboard-bonusses).

But yeh this is proof why a good deal is so important.

Thanks guys - was a little bit smashed, completely missed that link on the graph !

My SNG excluding rake was basically what I thought it would be, as I say, I've thought about it plenty and worked it out roughly.. FWIW - without rake I would be about +$400 for SNGs

Luckily for MTTs, rake is fairly negligible - for example, I'm currently about +$8.9K for PKR MTTs and excl rake I am about $10.1K - so not a huge difference. Which isn't surprising, MTTs aren't really the grind SNGs/Ring is.

Also - regarding rake - I wrote a thread about it on here a while back - for anyone who really isn't aware of just how huge a deal rake is (and how important reload bonuses, rakeback, etc are...)

see my thread here:

Thanks for this tip doomdy. I will have a closer look at it later.
I am just starting with playing SNGs, so I never really cared about Sharkscope till now.

I dont think it is schocking, this is the reality. We tend to look at the numbers of the winning without thinking in the investments, besides time. Its like playing a life in lotery. If one wins a good prize after 50 years of betting in the same number, his prize is an ilusion, a big part of it is to pay for all that had been paid to play all the other time that he didn’t won. Ok, winning a million is always nice, but….
