Hello everyone,
Just bit about myself;
Preferred poker variants: I've just started playing Holdem for about 4 years, I like most type's of Games Classic poker(5-card draw), Omaha H/L, Razz, stud etc. I just started playing 11 months ago; HORSE.
About me: I play Poker because its a game of skill and luck, and not for money,at moment( about 10 months ago,I started from US$00.00, I now have made US$25 on PokerStars just playing Freerolls, as soon as i hit US$50 I'll start playing for real money (So my Bankroll can take any bad downswings))
Started playing poker: When i was about 5-6yrs i start playing Classic poker as well as Blackjack (21), pontoon & stop the bus (31), chess. But only started playing TexasHoldem and other games from about 4 yrs ago when i started playing Playstation2 World Series of Poker ( by ActiVision Ive got 3 bracelets in holdem, Omaha, Razz, But that is virtual players i think playing real people is dif because reading People/play etc)well i know i can do against virtual players, REAL players another ? lol)
Poker players I respect most: Chris Ferguson , Doyle Brunson, Phil Ivy, Joe Hachem, Daniel Negreanu, and many others Well U Should Respect all players other wise, U get Ur ass kicked,

That is a very nice first post. Not many people actually introduce themselves the way you have, so 2 thumbs up. And Welcome to the Forum!
You'll enjoy yourself here if you like a good laugh. we're a tight-night community in a way, with a lot of jokes and the occational arguments, but such is life, isn't it?
A bit of advice though: I realise you have not played for real money yet, so you are apparently not aware of "Black Friday", last year.
Chris ferguson and Howard Lederer scammed the Poker community to a total of about 440 million dollars on Full Tilt, which was shut down by the Department of Justice, FBI etc.
GBT (a finance group) is trying to get Full Tilt up again and pay the players back. Ferguson is the worst SOB in the bunch, because he is still trying to recuperate 14 million of his "stolen" money, and it actually threatened the deal going through.
You will find many players (including me), who's main bankroll was on Full Tilt, and would like to see these criminals incarcerated for the coming 50 years. Many families worldwide are now broke because of these scumbags. They apparently don't come out much anymore, and that is wise, because the Poker world is disgusted with them and the worst scam ever in Poker history.
Read up on it if you are not aware of any of this. If you are, I don't get you still respecting Ferguson (or Lederer), nobody who has ever played Poker still does. Negreanu (my favourite player) posted his first video blog about this a month back, calling them scumbags and that he hopes they end up in prison where they belong. (a lot has happened in the last 10 months with this)
Btw, Full Tilt might be re-opening in the coming months, with the promise of all of us getting our money back. I believe it will happen soon as do most.

Welcome to BRM 0HighTimes0! I've only been playing electronic poker fora little over a year. I also enjoy playing Omaha, Stud, Razz and of course Texas Hold'em being my favorite. Currently learning how to play Badugi just to keep up with all the competitive playing options.
Being from the U.S. it's hard to find any sites that are eligible, but currently at Carbon. As long as BRM sdupports the site I can state where I'm playing, but I wouldn't post anything that advertises events / sites that BRM don't support. BRM offers their members all types of ways to win Mobpoints, gain access to Bankroll options and the forum is a great place to share experiences, ask questions, whine a bit or complain. Yes I know all about (well most) Black Friday as I lost about US$5 (As I just started doing there academy Bankroll challenge, building it up from zero, did same thing on PS's at same time) on Fulltilt and i was on PokerStars PSO skill league when it had Screen of white death (i got screenshot of it) happened,and read alot about it on Poker/ news sites. and the USA Gov stopping USA player's,SAD (Land of the Free, Free of online poker!?!).
I do play for money on other site (PP). As soon as i reach my goal of $50 on PokerStars I'll be using good Bankroll management to grind up in'tll I'm a Pro i hope (dreams are free lol). At moment freerolling to get decent starting roll, then Ill spend to make , at moment just making money from nothing ( but a lot of time involved) Rome wasn't build in day lol
With regards to Chris ferguson, he was first i seen on TV playing years ago in WSOP, I have respect as poker player, but I lost respect as person after Blackfriday,

don't forget to have a look at some of the No Deposit Bonus or BRM Bonus (5.000 mob points = $50) offers on the site. If you're not signed up yet on some of them it's an easy way to get those first $50. It works.
