well seeing as i am born in toronto and have recently moved back im really hoping the leafs take the cup this year! i dont know who out there are hockey fans i dont really follow myself just a die hard leafs fan. i say every year that this is there year and im sure before i die ill be right. would be cool if the year i move back they take it.
i really want them to win to see torontos reaction to it. it would imo be all out fandamonium... this city would go nuts!!!

To the 2 people who voted, they will make it and take it, know nothing about hockey. I would love to see my team win a cup, but it won't be this year. They jest don't have the depth, or enough talent, YET.

They just lost to washington and played to a action packed 0-0 draw thru regulation against Philly on Saturday and lost in a shootout. Washington is in the final spot 8th and they were 6 points ahead before Sundays game against Toronto. So last nights games not included we are at least 8 points out or 4 games. We have the worst Goals against in the L and that should say alot about our problems.
Before the all star break we were solid but then both Ottawa and Washington turned it around and we have just finished losing 14 of the last 16 games or something stupid.
We should actually tank and look to improve thru draft as we are only 3 points out of last. Considering there are still 13 games left its possible they make it but more then likely we are looking at yet another 9th place finish. No playoffs, no lottery pick.

Don't have a clue, but they're the only NHL team I can think of off the top of my head

you do make some excellent points micro we were looking quite good in the begginning but i mean we ususally do lol tactically going for the better draft pick would be the smart thing to do but yee have little faith lol id really like to see it in my life time thats all i ask of them.
