Can ROI Be Calculated?  0
I was just curious as to whether or not I could calculate my ROI. I guess I'm looking for the formula, but not really familiar enough to know how to do it. If someone could assist it would be appreciated!

You take your total buyins, including rake, and total them up.

Then you take your total money won from all the tournaments that you played.

Divide buyins by profit, and that's your roi.

You can use the formula from the poker schools and you can see your ROI after the playing. But i have never heard about a calculator for this. But you have a expected value after playing a lot of your favorite games.

or you could just use sharkscope to find your stats Blink

Retribution's formula is correct, still i would advice you to use an tracking software when you play tournaments or sng...

I know from experience that it means a lot especially when dealing with regulars Blink

I'd strongly suggest going with Hold'em Manager, as IMO it's a lot more stable and in depth than Poker tracker is, plus you get a bunch of extra goodies, such as SNG wiz and Table ninja. Hands down HEM is just a wayyyyyyy better platform, and I always found PT crashed quite a bit as well, especially if i was importing a lot of hands at once.

Whichever program you chose, both are invaluable as they allow you to get accurate results as to your profits, without having to do any of the math yourself.

Again, I'd choose HEM over PT, especially if you're a SNG grinder. SNG wizard is hands down the BEST tool you can get for improving you SNG game.
