thinking about playing the Poker Maximus ME $200,000 gtd or the sunday evening $50,000 gtd today, what tournament would you recommend and any tips would be appreciated, thanks.

Big games like the 200k tend to have lots of satalight winners, and they make tough opponents, I would go for the 50k, but do the maths for yourself see which has better value. As for tips, WIN. GL.

yeah that's what I thought, there's just over 1k entrants in the ME, but the $50k has less than a 100 entrants and most of them will be sharks. would you play tight or loose and try and get a decent stack early? it's my first time playing a high stakes mtt so that's why i'm asking for tips

My opinion is to play tight , as you said most of them probably are sharks . so if you play loose , you might make an early exit , but that's just my opinion.
if your asking for tips to play these tourneys then your not ready to play in then, or the buyin is too high for you.
you need to earn the right to play these kinds of tourneys, have the skills and bankroll too, somethink tells me you need to stick to the mirco stakes,
but if you have won a ticket a one of chance of playing in it, then, all i can say is just play your normal game have faith in it, dont play scared and dont be afraid to shove either,
dont listen to that advise just pay that person his money back just found out about you , you fooking robbing bastard.......................
