Yesterday I have won my 3rd 20$ SnG in a row in a home game, I'm having a really good live run this year. We only pay the 2 first places so basicly in a 9 player game like yesterday 2/3 goes to winner and 1/3 to second (120$/60$) I had a lot of up and downs, but I won every all in where my life was in jeopardy! Really nice to get the rockets when blinds go up to 300 in my face and I got 1550 chips, that hand was the turning point for me. Doubled up on a KJ suited and havent looked back after that. But at this point the chip leader had a HUGE stack, when the HU started he had about 13.3K and I had 4.7K with 200/400 blinds. Picked up kings against nines then jacks against A-10, got really lucky at critical points basicly. But my patience was tested a couple of times in this game, I played really tight when I was short stack.
My brother has this really nice hand made 1000$ casino table, so we're confortable to play for 4 hours + and I have to say live poker is nothing like online poker, way less donk plays, and more importantly less donk CALLS. We must've played about 300-400 hands yesterday, maybe more. We use 2 decks of cards for a while now so we can play more hands per blind stages, it really helps! If you haven't tried that in your home games I suggest you do!

Sound nice, but your friends feel perhaps not really happy when they loose their money against you. Or you must pay the drinks for the evening But the important question are: who was the dealer?
It's all good! We play together for many years, we know each other styles, we read each other and that really adds depth to the game Of course there is 2-3 less skilled guys (mathematicly) but most of us play good ABC SnG poker, position etc.
Dealer is on the button, of course Sometimes one guy that has been eliminated deals though.
But usually SB pre-shuffles another deck so that it's already ready for the next hand. This way, we don't lose 30 seconds looking at a guy shuffling the cards every hand...
EDIT: Oh and our RnG is rigged IRL too, there has been like 10 18% suck outs yesterday!!

Great to hear stories about good games like this so congrats on your wins and your luck.
That is the thing about live play, I mean rarely any donks and the pace is so much slower then electronic poker. The players that make donk plays while playing electronic would play totally different live. It's the fast pace and risk factors that make so many donk opportunities in electronic poker. It's just some are worse or should say higher risk takers in the electronic world.

Congratz TheMachine for your wonderful day Did it your 1st time play live poker ? and how card distribution ? different so far than random system online poker or almost similar ? A lot winning hand decided on river ?

If i have friend who want to play live poker i never go to play online,live poker is totaly different and much,much better,I play like everybody i think different then online,and congratz for your play
