Throwing my hat back in  0
After taking a break from online poker for the last year or so, I've decided to start playing online again. I built up a good bankroll from live games, and am wondering how much to deposit. I'll most likely deposit at PS. Thinking about skiping the micro limits and heading to low.(I already know about bankroll management so please no posts about that) I don't really want to post how much my bankroll is i'm just looking for what precent you would stake, and or if you would consider it a seperate bankroll all together.

(also no rigged talk I don't wanna hear about how your aces got sucked out)

Be prepared for some huge swings cos online poker is rigged nowadays.
Anyway goodluck Thumbs Up

Edit: You sure you wanna start online poker again?

Ha ha, is that some more April fools Doomdy?

Timbo, congrats on your live play winnings, glad to hear you're interested in entering the world of low rake and good offers once again. You're Canadian so you can use Instadebit, pick a site that uses it because you get free transfers, then you only have to deposit as much as you need and add more as you need, if you need.

------------
Disregard the first line, I get the joke now. Don't worry about it Timbo, there's always bound to be some hazing during re-entry. Just get out there and play some poker and let us know how you do. Things will warm up then. Good luck on the tables.

Welcome back timborep!

I hope you know what you´re doing?
You were one of the people pretty adamant about "rigged" and "bots" etc.
No?

Enough of that on the forum already right now. lol

Anyways, nice to hear you did well live.
I would only deposit what you can miss live IMO.
If it´s enough, just see what games/limits you want to play, apply Bankrollmanagement for those limits, and deposit exactly that amount. That way you can tell quickly if that level is for you or not.
Just my 2 cents worth. Blink

I thought that first too lol, but I figured maybe what he was driving at was that he wanted to split his live play money into to pools. One for online of course. And he would then apply Bank Roll management to that separate pool, benefit of the doubt?

hey timborep may i ask if you are doing well playing live poker (which is way more exciting to play imho) why do you want to return online anyway- what's so attractive about staring at a monitor for x hours. to answer your question- i play only with a bankroll that i feel comfortable with- there are lots of tips and strategies about how much cash you should have, but i can recommend only one- feel comfortable with the bankroll and stakes you are playing Blink

Hey Timborep, Are you still there? If so let us know what you decided on and how you're making out so far. Also you mentioned you were thinkin about depositing at Poker Stars? Did you try that? If not consider one of the gift offers here, they'll make you a boat load quickly.
