The worst bet/call ever.  0
Hi guys.

What do you think about this:

Me (150bb stack): QsQc in CO.
SB (132bb) call.

Flop: 8dQdTh.
Turn: Td.
River: Jd.

Well all the streets is I bet/SB calls until river.

In river SB donks 1 bb (in a pot around 50bb). I reraise until 35bb (i want SB pays with the flush i think he has). And SB calls (yiiihaaaaa!!!).

SB shows... AdKd. nice bet/call, lol.

All the table in chat 'Wow, vnh hand guys..' and things like that maybe i was thinking 'thanks SB, thanks SB, thanks SB...'.

What kind of player only calls?!

Quite normal hand, with the exeption of the river.Of cause he should have reraised here and bet bigger in the first place . But i guess he wanted to show down his Royal Flush.

Or straight flush ! enough to win. maybe he had 99d or K9d or 10 10 or AK not sure suited D or os.

had 1 hand kinda opposite to this long ago on fulltilt

pot is around 60 bb
board was something like - Ad 5c 7d Ks 9d

BB has 10 bb left and goes allin
MP raises to 90 bb and is allin
i fold my two pair on button

showdown - BB shows QdKd
MP shows 6 high Shock

Looks to me he was making slowplay with you and, unfortunately, things got reversed for him. That is the only explanation I found for him doing such thing in this hand. And I guess you can also understand that. If you think you are winning and you have an opponent betting in your place, what would you do? Let him bet, the pot is for me! Now imagine if he had TT… I guess you wouldn’t have come here to tell everyone about it, and it would have been very well played to make slowplay against you in the same!

I lost of course Big Smile. Or maybe not. I will call/allin every reraise he do so lose only 1/2 stack aprox i think is a win.

As you say, guys, maybe he wanted to show his Royal.

Ha ha, "Making slowplay with you" That's an awesome way to put it. Makes it sound like he was trying to make sweet poker on you. lol.

Hey, it may seem unusual but the slowplay makes sense, he had the nut flush after all, the Royal was just icing. As for him calling you on the flop, not sure what your bet size was but he had two over cards and flush draw so if he thought you were bluffin, makes sense.

But even if he raised , you would have called him anyway , so he would still show his royal , maybe he wasn't paying attention , and didn't notice he had a royal flush Smile) , who knows , good for you he only called.

Yeah the hand is pretty normal untill the river. He slow played his AK suited pre flop then just called all the way after that. The guy probably didn't know he was slow playing though, he's obviously not an experienced player.

On the river though, at this point it's pretty obvious you have something raising to 35 BB, so he should've went all-in to try to maximize his value. But again, he has no experience and he doesn't know that he has the nuts (or what the nuts is) Blink

That´s pretty much my guess seeing how the hand played out.
I don´t think he completely realised what he was holding.

Weird hand... Confused
