Welp kiddies, it looks like there's something big brewing at Full Tilt headquarters. Latest rumor on the circuit is that Full Tilts parent company is posting ads, looking to hire around 14 people, mainly customer service reps, for a term of 2-3 months, with the possibility of a permanent position.

Conversely, this could also mean they are planning on shutting it down, and the reps will just be to take cashout requests/complaints, but that doesn't seem likely.

I hope that everyone gets paid out, but if you continue to play there you're an idiot. How can you trust a site if it ripped you off?

Opening the site to pay players is a very good idea but it should shut down shortly after. I believe that it will become a ghost site just like the old UB in the event they keep it open.

Once trust is lost it is almost impossible to regain. Ask my ex...the stupid, cheating whore.

I never played there much (sorry didnt like the site) but I hope everyone gets there money back. And then that they never play there again...imo it would just be asking for more trouble.

my 2 cents...peace.

That sounds like a horrible job.. I've worked in customer service long enough to know how much difficulty people have in distinguishing the difference between the people trying to help them [Customer Service Agents] and the Company they have the problem with.

Seriously, could you image dealing with the customer-service s**t-storm that is inevitably going to happen if they open the doors.. You would be wanting to be getting paid pretty well - to deal with that level of abuse.

Those are pretty dumb statements you are making.
The management has changed and they will be under scrutiny from the whole world after Black Friday. It´s the same software but a completely different site.
This will probably be the safest site to play on if they re-open.
So calling people idiots.......

Why don´t people think before posting?

Sorry Gomer, but you are not thinking clearly before calling people idiots.
Please do next time...

Or if you like, because I´m tired of pointing this out to people, I´ll make you a bet.

I bet Full Tilt is the second biggest Poker site in the world after only 2 month from their opening.
You bet it will be a ghost site.

How much do you want to bet?
$50?
...or whatever amount you suggest.

Completely agree - I was going to jump on this post as well.. But I didn't bother - because the sentiment expressed by Gomer is shared by many.. Unfortunately critical thinking isn't taught at schools. People make emotional decisions rather than rational ones.

Well I think it's a mixed bag, and while many people may have some reservations about continuing with Full Tilt, the bottom line is that hands down they had THE best platform in the industry. Sure Stars has ventured into their version of "Rush poker" as well many other rooms will likely follow suit, but Rush Poker wasn't the only reason people played there.

Also keep in mind, the site will be operating under new management, and you can 100% guarantee they are going to be watched very carefully, so I can almost certainly guarantee we won't see a repeat. I mean look at it this way. If you invested 80+million dollars into a failed business, you'd do your damndest to make sure you investment is protected, right?

Totally agree. When they re-open, i´ll be there. Also without Tiger woods and Lionel Messi beeing there! Blink
My $25 are reserved. And who´s not trusting all way down: Cash out your winnings instead of going up in Limits.

i think most of poker community is waiting to see the grand opening- still full tilt was a huge brand, second biggest site only to riverstars, so it's an event not to miss out on...i will also be amongst ones who are going to donk out my cents on the site, afterall we need to support kind businessmen who want to make their humble millions Dollar

i totally agree with islandjack. there is no way that the new management will be ripping people off. the new ftp will be the safest pokersite ever.
And... just imagine the great bonuses they will be offering to keep people playing there! i only have $100 on there but even if i had $10,000 or $100,000 i wouldnt be moving it from that site.

why would you not want to support people who have done so much to get people's money back for them?
cant wait till ftp comes back. i definately think it will be huge once more.
gl everyone Big Smile Thumbs Up

I agree both with Bullet-tooth and Island Jack. When it comes back it will be full-proof and it will not be able to rip anyone off.

I only have about $120.00 on there but will be playing that to the full, I will not deposit on there again until I know its safe and in my own opinion not ripping anyone off.

GL to them and if they want someone to work from home for them I will volunteer..........

GL to you all...................

Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile

Hi guys!!

Great news, if the hire workers means they have work to do (during mounths they do nothing).

About GomerAssassi post. Well, FTP2 will have not the same owners as old FTP. If the news cheat us again... hope not happen.

We need FTP back for many reasons. To make goods Pokerstars reload bonus comeback (since FTP closed only 10$, wtf), for example.

And, for sure. Now i have in sites the minimum $$$ i need to play in the stakes i want to play. No one site will have thousands in his hands when can be in mine.

Besides the fact that this is still rumours i liked the fact when i read that hiring people
but wehn i got to the part saying it a temporary job for few months makes me wonder
why.
When you open up for business do you hire temporary or permanent stuff?

They wouldnt hire “with the possibility of a permanent position” just to proceed with cashouts. We already know they will let everyone to keep their old accounts or create new ones if they want to so, this can only mean new activity will come soon. And it will mean new games, new bonus, new promos, new money to win on the net!
