since my last post about half an hour ago pokerstars have froze my account because i kept another player in a freeroll tourney are they not being a bit stupid doing this. if i want to play like this on a poker table it should be at my own peril as in the coming days the person that i kept in could knock me out on the day of the tournament but as i was saying its my decision and if i want to play this way i should be able to do this its not like im cheating anyone but myself.

Well, after reading it what did you expect, you cheated someone out of a place with your conduct, it was collusion and PS is right to take action as written in there rules, If you can't play fair don't play.

i dont think its cheating ps is wrong to freeze your account. i would complain to ps and if that dont resolve it i would try the ombudsman for that site

I think it is ok to protect the other players and control what happened. But if you write a mail to the stars i´m sure that they opened your account with a warning for the future.

At 43 you would think that you would know better
Was it a BRM freeroll? If so you just admitted cheating and IMO you should be blocked from getting to play at any BRM games.
You cheated and changed the whole play out of the game. You say " at my own peril " and "as i was saying its my decision and if i want to play this way i should be able to do this its not like im cheating anyone but myself."
Really? What the hell is wrong with you? You cheated and find nothing wrong with it but I bet that if someone did that to you we would be reading all kinds of horse s h i t on here about it from you
You stink and Pokerstars did right,( can't believe I said anything nice about that site but....), 2 thumbs up to PS and at least 10 down to OP from me.

If that would happen without the knowledge of any part, there was no problem with it. The problem here is that looks like you are playing in groups, and the principle of the game is to be an individual one. One can be playing an SnG with a friend against 6 others and use an external chat to try to combine some plays, although I think that is also illegal according to the terms and conditions of the sites. Doing it combining in the poker chat, that’s a mess.
I think the Pokerroom is right with frozen your account cause what you did was cheating and nothing other or would you like it if someone does that when you are a short stack on another table
