Chip and a chair thread  +4
Playing a 6 person turbo SNG during lunch at my desk, just a microstakes $2.50 BI, and got this chip and a chair story: On the fifth hand of the game get KK, guy to my right limps in with TT and when I raised substantially he shoves. When I saw his hand I was happy, but when the flop came out my smile went away, leaving me with 75 in chips. Fifty three hands later I took first place! Smile

So rather than just share this story with you, I would like you to come back to this thread whenever you have a chip and a chair story as well, and post it here. GL!

Very nice mahdrof and wished I saved a couple of my best comebacks to post. I know this is off subject, but when you use the photo in your avatar it gives me nightmares. Is this you looking like a crazy madman? I'm sorry, but the gaze in the eyes are terrifying! lol

Obviously a good amount of luck, but just careful hand selection and use of position later on. Two hands after the KK I had A7o and shoved, figuring it might be the best hand I was going to get, three called and I hit with the 7 and quadrupled. A couple of hands after that sitting in the big blind with AKs and UTG shoves with JTs so I called and hit an ace for a nice double up. The sweetest part was bouncing the guy with TT out on the bubble. Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile

Nice.... Smile

I've done this many a time as well.
You see most people shoving the first cards they get when they have less than a blind left, but you proved that you should NEVER give up and keep fighting.

Great story and I agree with IslandJack Smile to NEVER give up and keep fighting.

You manage to climb up to the first place only with 75 chips? The other guy had already more than 2,000! Great story. You kept calm, deciding not to put the rest of the chips in the next hand just because you have had what some call a bad beat, and you ended up winning! This is an example for all the community: never quit before you run out of chips completely. By the way, have you read the “Impressive comeback by Kevin Vandermissen, the new Irish Open Champ” new here at BRM? Another great example of what I just wrote.

Nice post mahdrof! I don't remember any good come backs. Only I was in a 9 man $5 sng on Pokerstars and the other guy knocked out every player and it was headsup and I had only 1000 chips to his 12000 and I came back to win. The funny thing was everyone that got knocked was cheering me on the rail lol.

I havent been in such a situation before but i have seen a player in a freeroll tournament
having only 11 chips, getting six all in in a row and manged after all to be deep in the money.
We are talking about major luck here Smile

Well done for your win, it was really one worth mentioning Smile

I´ve come back in a bmob party poker freeroll a few weeks ago and reached the second place. In the bubble phase i was allin whith less than a bb and after that i´ve won 3 allin in a row and reached the Hu in the tourney two hours later. Verry funny.
