playin in a $3.30 on jokerstars $35K GTD ended up about $38K
80 from gettin paid and i wake up to AK blinds wer 300/600 i go allin 14K get snap called wi A 8 flop comes AA8....WTF???? been cashin in all the small limits but when im doin good in the bigger 1s they keep killin me...AA flop trip As some donkey calls wi 3 5 os and rivers a str8..in same tourney...loads of other crap like this..its a joke! fuckin jokerstars keeps snappin me when im ahead!!!

so what? you lost get this for one time- you both had odds to win the hand- your odds were bigger, his smaller, but all that means that both of you had chances to win...get it...look at any sport- there are favorites, there are losers, but in any season, any sport you see favorites falling from time to time...same with poker- aa is always a fav preflop, but it loses from time to time anyway

Kind of agree, but haven't you ever been on tilt from not getting any cards for hours or thinking the person making the bet is a donk because he's too active or won on a s**t hand. Then you get a8, and it looks better than it is. Or when you have way more chips and its worth a punt, you didn't say how many chips he had. Maybe this is what happened here.

But yeah obviously people wake up with any ace on the lower limits and call regardless, they don't think. It's frustrating, but that's what happens everyday in poker.

I didn't imply that you should be a genius. I was talking about your opponents. On micro-limits people don't know the first thing about odds. You will be snap called with A8 ALL THE TIME. And will loose from to time. If you don't want to play against donks, you should enter tourneys with buy-in 30$+ and with no satellites to them.
------------ BTW... You didn't post the detailed HH, but from those bits of info that you provided, looks like you had a very tiny stack at that moment. You had 14K with blinds 300/600? What's that? 23BB? Any decent size stack should have called you with almost any two. And A8 is of course an instacall here.

Stars is really a joke. I saw so many unbelievable suckouts in the last years, it´s not real. Every second hand you see a mega draw board and in every hand are 3-4 players involved. And the player with the biggest donk hand is the winner...

Give the guy a break. He's not saying anythings rigged, he's just taken a bad-beat and want's to let off some steam. This seems like as good a place as any to do that.

lol i find it amusing on this forum how many people just cant believe when hands get beat it is poker everything can win before the flop.... if your shoving before you have a made hand then your unrealistic and fact is if ya hadnt have shoved and he still woulda beat you and you would have went all in once seeing the AA on the board regardless but at least then you could call it craxy all in before flop your own bad

got snap called with BS hands million of times, yes im overrating. But my point is. i was the same whining on the forums, why the fk i got called by some BS Ace with low kicker off suit. Its normal nowadays my Aces cracked alot on PokerStars. But sometimes the card turns and i have more luck then usual. Its ofcourse annoying.. i get it i know how you feel when you get sucked out by some donkey like that. (Beware of Russians on PokerStars.. they crazy.. Many of them completely stupid! and shove with any trash. Anyway sorry im not here to flame in any way Russia. Not at all. just pointing out this thing. coz freerolls are so filled with many Ru/Ukr/Belarus etc. And not all of them are bad and so lotto fishy style. but many of them do. And its everywhere like that. Maybe the guy who called you snap called in only because he put you on a different hand? you didnt even told us your position and his position even tho it doesnt really matter that much with AK as it is a monster preflop no matter what. also shoving instantly 14k when you say blinds 300/600 so.. about 26 BBs ? thats decent amount , Also if you had position on him why not just raise for amount dependant on the number of players involved and the size of the pot obv. unless you were small blind, or big blind, or utg1/2 there i would very likely shove too, so people would definitely respect my hand.

I agree with the guy.wether its micro or high buy-ins games player should still play good poker.at least we all know what it means to play good.and I believe there's something wrong with the jokerstars sofware consistently rewarding idiotic players.where's the fun in that huh?

First of all ,,read some pokerbooks,, learn all about strategy ,and all there is to know about online poker..for u''grahamy27'' i advice you to read the chapter about '' position''
Please don't cry, because you risked 14K chips to steal blinds when the are 300/600 , if u add the antes , you risked 14k to win around 1200-1300 chips,,,so less then 10% of your stack. i love to see people lose there monsters if they shuff like u did,,see it as a penalty for a bad play
Because a preflop allinn at this point , i consider as a steal attempt...wheter your utg1 or button and all positions between,,
Also don't cry when your aces are cracked , because everybody knows you can win or lose with any hand,,i asume your always happy when u crack others A-A
Now here's a nice example what can happen in a MTT,,,an experience of myself :
i play for 3,5 hours and reach the top ten of this 3000+ players field, have over 120k chips and around 500 players left in tournament.
and if i double up 1 more time i am nr 1,2 or 3 in the overall chiplead..
At this point i can lay any hand away, and feel no need to play exept my monsters...i can even sitout for 20-30 minutes and still have a overaverage stack...
Now here it comes : i get in the coming 4 hands, 3 times A-K suited and not suited..
And lose them all,,, the last one i go all inn and get busted ,out of the tournament..
I have placed this situation somewhere on the forum but now after a month,, i can laugh about it..
i should have been more carefull ,,,with all those chips i thought i was unbeatable,,and thought
huh,what can happen if i call this first all-inn?? (being somewhere in middle position, with still 4-5 players having position on me..)
Now you all know,what can happen...the funny thing is i already knew very well what bad luck scenario's are possible...so again i should be more carefull and wait for even better spots and cards like A-A or K-K and play only on the cut off and button.
My own silly mistake ,and also your own silly mistake...
o yeah ,and beware of the russians ,they are just with 143 million..on this planet.. i gues i havent counted the ukr,belarus,,etc,etc, but am not sure
