With all due respect, your 18 and still have a thing or two to learn.
Yes it gets very frustrating most of the time and sometimes you go mweeks and months getting bad beat after bad beat.
I'm 61 and even though maybe I haven't kept up with many of the newer styles of aggression I still hold my own.
Right now being 2nd on 888 leaderboard and finishing 4th in a $ 5000 Freeroll last week at 888 and earning $ 250.
PATIENCE is # 1

GL my friend

Age is irrelevant when it comes to poker or bad beats and should have no bearing on what im proposing. Most of the top players today, are between the ages of 18-25 so this just proves the point. Geez, i know people who have supposedly been playing poker for 40 years and there still ametures that's just the nature of the game. These people have never bothered to learn proper strategy. Anyway to the point. What i am proposing here is changes to the freeroll structures so it can allow better players to consistently do well. We all know that the deeper the stacks in any game the more skill that is needed to be successful.

I don't care how old you are as the key to winning instead of whining is patience just as byng0 said.

BRM will not change the structure of the free-rolls as if you are as good as you say you are then you should hit that final table no matter what.

So are you a WINNER or are you a WHINER ?

Lol^ totally agree, although if it were me I'd also make them all in or fold tourneys.

@RedVulture61: Any huge field freeroll is going to be incredibly difficult to place in, even for pro's. It matter how good you are, you're gonna have to take more risks to get to the finish line then in a smaller field, so you're lucky to get sucked out more frequently, Plus people are willing to throw down with draws more often as its a freeroll.

It's not you, my advice: Deposit or take a no deposit bonus, way more profitable.

Utterly pointless in my opinion..

When blinds are that quick to go up it turns poker into a bingo/luckfest.

There's no need to change the format I don't think, perhaps 4min blinds rather than 5 is it on 888? But it's different for each freeroll I think.

And Redvulture - you're showing arrogance and an ego - I may be wrong of course, but it's like you feel a final table spot is rightfully yours.
If it is go and play some good poker and eventually or soon you will do it.

Just remember a lot of people on the Mobrolls are really bad (it is free after all) and push with bad hands and suckout all the time - that's simply the way it is.

Play the best poekr you can, keep learning and good luck.

The idiots who want faster structures are obviously massive fish. If you want this, i would suggest playing the lottery instead because you would have just as much chance at winning that. How can i make the final table every tournament when i get sucked out on consistently when i get it 70% 80% or even 90% faviourte? What are you retarded? Arkim is also a massive fish thinking that you are lucky to be sucked out on what a moron. The whole notion of a suckout is having a better hand cracked when the odds are heavily stacked in your favor which stems from being unlucky you fish.

You see, guy who you just called idiot is one of best players on this forum, and you obviosly just started playing so better to shut your mouth and learn some poker and play for real$ not freerolls. Then you get to choose structure and quality of players. I think 1k and 1 min blinds are good option and only because quality of play on freerolls is already low and they are huge loss of time.

whining about bad beats in freerolls now thats something lame ...
FYI freerolls are almost like a lottery usually until the last 50-100 players and i feel really sorry for u that u actually consider yourself already a PRO poker player Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! when u are only 18... and about the fact that most off the online poker players are 18-25 thats a good thing especially if they are as good as u ... we the "fishes" can make a really nice profit Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile

and by the way there are real PRO players that don't reach a final table for months and they ar not whining like u ... and have a little respect for the older players ...they have much more experience than u and most of the time they know what their talking about

Patience is a beautiful lady you'd do well to hang onto. The only problem is that once we have her we want more and more and dont want to hang around waiting...so go and mess it up!! Sounds spookily familiar dont it?

I guarantee that the best player at MTTS and SNGs on this forum would be on equal skill level to myself at the very best. It was just a proposal, i guess you fish want to continue to play the lottery so i will let you be. The best players at poker are the people like aged 18-25.

Well if you say that you will need to prove it. Judge the skill just for the age, what a mistake.

About the structure of the freerolls. If you want 20 minutes levels and a strating stack of more than 100bb you must play big MTTs online the site have some in the weekend, specially in sunday. You want the same structure that a 200$ buyin MTTs. For God sakes we are taking about freeroll!!!

10 or 15 minute levels and more chips are a good way aginst the gamblers, but it need to much time for a freeroll. The best way for this freerollis to wait 2-3 levels and play only the monster hand at this time. Then the most of the gamblers are eliminated and you can start to play abc poker.

If you're a good player then theoritcally increasing blind levels WILL increase your ROI %

However - and this is a BIG however - decreasing the amount of time it takes to play a game will increase your hourly.

Your hourly is more important than your ROI. And the fact is, if you can play more freerolls in less time as a good player, you should make more $$ overall than if you play less, but do a little bit better in each..

This is why thrashing turbo SNGs etc can be so profitable - you earn good rakeback and while your ROI may drop significantly, you get so many more games in that your hourly still goes up.

My point is - if anything, as Doomdy says, decrease the blind levels - since it's a freeroll, the term "ROI" doesn't really apply, since you can't multiply or divide by zero in a meaningful way. Since you're not paying any buying, the ultimate scenario is to simply play as many freerolls as possible, if they all only lasted 1minute, then everyone would play them.. As it is - they last long enough that only people trying to build micro-stakes rolls play then, for anyone else - your hourly is never going to be worth your time..

But if you make freerolls 3000 starting stacks + 15minute blinds, you'll end up with 10hr+ games where you can hit the Final Table and STILL only earn $2 or something.. Seriously, they don't need to go any longer than they already do.

If you're as good as you think you are, then you'll hit some FTs sooner or later, otherwise - keep practising.

wouldt it be better then, for such high skilled under 30year old people like you, that over 30´s r not allowed to play freerolls?
Big Smile

but it´s right, not everyone who reaches final table is high skilled..
Some have a good run with luck.
But whats the problem?
You can also play low- buy-in trns, where you may find not so much of the reraise/all-in-players.

Or change your poker-site.
I play on 3 Sites and the style of playing is very different from site to site.
