It's like fighting with computer pirats... they invent even better escurity but hackers breaks it after few days... The fighting in the Internet it's so difficult.
Russia block providers? Users will start with proxy, etc. Russia block sites? Users will start playing on sites which accept players from whole the world (like US)

I also read earlier in a post here that implied that Russians do collude and cheat in any way they can, playing others at there table out of the game by raising reraising others out when there are 2 or more at the table, thats just one of there underhand actions, if you see 2 or 3 UK players u dont see that type of play and if u do its very rare and not a regular occurrance.
I am of the opinion that they should be removed from all poker sites and to include all the other countries who were part of the USSR until its break up a few years ago because they are the same.
I am not going to apologise if this post stays up because thats how I truly feel about this issue.
I can name the countries if you want me too because some of em you wouldnt really know that they were part of the USSR, there are in fact at least 12 so if its Russian player ur on about multiply that by at least 12 and u have the real number who are at it.
I have stated this on many occassions not just here but many other sites were most if not all agree with what i have said.
It is so obvious what they are doing they chat in Russian until some one tells them its only English chat, then they still carry on in Russian AND DONT GIVE A SH-IT.

I want to clarify this situation a little bit. 1) The access to the poker sites is blocked only by one regional provider domru.ru With any provider there are no problems. 2) Domru.ru has blocked the websites only but poker clients work fine. That's why you still see Russians at the poker tables. 3) The access was blocked by the demand of the local district attorney office. In Perm, I believe 4) The abovementioned ISP does not operate in Moscow and almost non-existent in St. Petersburg. Therefore the scope of this problem is still not very large.

The russions are verry important for the online poker rooms in the moment. And in the future countrys like india, china, russia and brasil are the biggest growing markets for online poker i think.

Then I am sure that if a site looks to be overun with one nation then in my opinion the sites should set the limits for how many people live in that country.
I am sure that wouldnt lead to a shortage of traffic were I am sure that would also bring back the thousands who wont play on sites because there are to many of one race on that site, I get pi-ssed of now when say on a 9 handed table you have 6 of em either Russian, Spanish or bl-oody German, u know that u mite as well just sit out for all the cheating that will go on and does.

Lets hope that things will remain as it is, or get even better in the near future, cause the way things going those markets you are referring, may be the only ones that could play online poker

Yeah! We can't weed out every player just because of the country they live in. There's donk players in every country, state or continent and we've all played a couple donk hands. We need to stick together as poker players so that it doesn't matter where one lives. The governments around the world would be fine if they all could get their hands on a cut of the money. Funny how the world is! Once something gets big the governments need to get involved.

Had some russian donk shove in first hand in a $30 heads up sng with 7,10 off suit against my AK! Guess what he flops a 4 running fucking straight. It's ludicrous how badly players from this country play and still win. No hand is good against these donks, you might as well play with nothing at all.
