I Generally use the same nick on poker sites which is a combination of the names of my two kids. Here my nick is just the name of my first one (I'm not picking favourites , its just that the second was only born way after). Used to have a nickname that i always used for everything but when i went to register on my first poker site someone had already used it, so, i figured ill change it for something else that has meaning to me, and my kids are top of the list

I use the same name only in FTP. And i change it if i could!!!
Is no a good idea use the same names. Today the net is full of f*** bastards trying to steal our money. Is easy to find people who lost their banks all for not have her accounts with all the protection that tha sites provides. Buy security is good for our banks, guys!!!!!!

i dont use the same name at sites where i play regularly. and i also play at cake which allows to change name every 7 days, takes care of tracking softwares

These days you need to make thing as much complicated as you can when it comes to online accounts in any form. Its hard sometimes to remember the data some times if you have many accounts but its a lot safer.
And of course its also the reason that noob mentioned. Never is good to have an opponent who knows how you play

i use the same name on the sites i'm registered with or near enough,maybe a number change but the names the same. but i do have a different password on each site,can't keep everything the same,even the mrs dont know my passwords

I also use the same name for other sites, e-mail addresses, lotteries, etc. I need to do this to prevent getting confused at the various sites. As for passwords I do use two to three different ones and change them around routinely. The only time I don't use "Greenmohave" is when I do electronic banking or bill pay. I tend to get worried about things that involve larger sums of cash, but other then that it's green all the way.

I tend to do so as well.
It also means the same people who might be on several sites can't immediately identify you.
Didn't know the cake network offered that, pretty sweet.

i cant always pick the same name so varies slightly. the 1st poker site i signed upto was ftp and i used bullet tooth24, as snatch was my fave film and 24 was my age at the time. now i use variations of that. my names a bit crud on stars and party tho bullet1tooth lol its all i could pick. i guess there's alot of snatch fans out there hehe
